WMD Axxent - In depth demo and tutorial

AXXENT is an expander module for the METRON trigger and gate sequencer and adds 16 "accent" gate outputs. Each track is specifically tied to METRON tracks, making it a very intuitive addition to any METRON sequencing ecosystem.
Use AXXENT to send signals to additional envelopes, slews, drum accents, and other gate triggered functions. A perfect fit for any eurorack modular synthesizer system that uses METRON as it's core sequencing platform.

Any thoughts about possibility of adjusting gate length on Axxent? I was trying to use it to drive the individual inputs (Next, X, Y, Origin) of a NE Mimetic Digitalis, but if you have multiple subsequent steps active on Axxent it is treated as a very long gate so it will only recognize the first step.

Does an accent have to only be a 5v signal? I see that the Javelin can accept accents of any voltage to offer a velocity but i don't see a way to send a lower gate signal out of Accent.

AXXENT just outputs gates at 5V. A varying CV level output would just be another lane of CV sequencing which is available from Voltera... Accent is meant for modules that just need gates to trigger their accent inputs and that works great with Javelin... again if you want to very the level, a Voltera is more suited for that job. You could also attenuate the gates with something like 4tten if you wanted manual control over the level coming out of axxent.

I dig. I’ll patch it through the 4tten. How do you avoid digitally clipping the javelin with the c4rbn when’s the accent pushes the filter modulation really hard? I’ve been clipping the javelin with the resonance only halfway up.

2- 3 weeks for Axxent worldwide. Pre-orders are open on our site and at dealers.. We've shipped black Chimeras to Schneidersladen I believe. Hit them up and double check they don't have em already!
