Wow Metron looks like such a powerful and easy to use live performance sequencer perfect for drums and bass in other words, dance techno music! Love the WMD drum modules as well.

Add a Voltera to the Metron and you’ve got one helluva workhorse for all sorts of CV and Trigger sequencing

@@GuitarsAndSynths Yeah, I'm lovin' it. Have some of those you mention as well as some TipTop and others, as well as Rossum Assimil8or for orchestral percussion. The options are endless!

Question: how is generated the "clap"? Whats the whole path? metron as Seq, fracture and than plaits?
@PerfectCircuit
@PerfectCircuit 3 жыл бұрын
The Metron is the sequencer which is triggering the Fracture which is making the clap sound. The Plaits is making a different synth sound that is unrelated to the clap.
@marcodallapiazza1517
@marcodallapiazza1517 3 жыл бұрын
@@PerfectCircuit i see! Thanks for the reply! So the clap is made entirely by Fracture module? No further processing FX after it?
@PerfectCircuit
@PerfectCircuit 3 жыл бұрын
@@marcodallapiazza1517 Yes, the Fracture is specifically designed to make tons of interesting clap/snare sounds like this by itself!

@Perfect Circuit Which output module are you using? I see fracture is 20vpp as output. Not sure which module can be used to output the signal (to the daw via audio card for example). Thanks for a reply

That was an awesome jam! It really makes me jealous, my jam sessions never sound this good and I can't figure out why. How do you guys set these up or prepare them? Maybe I'm trying to do too much...

Try copying the beat and the changes made in this video. That will teach you a lot. Do it for a few other beats you like. Don't worry about when you will make your own from scratch. That'll just happen one day

@@PerfectCircuit love how you guys and gals do these awesome demo videos that show us how to put together all types of cool and interesting rigs. What are you using for clock, VCAs and filter and support utilities?
@PerfectCircuit
@PerfectCircuit 4 жыл бұрын
@@GuitarsAndSynths This system just uses the built in clock in the Metron, and since these drum modules are full synth voices we didn't use and VCAs or Filters that are their own modules. Besides the voices we used two small mixers, an MSCL compressor and two Tiptop effect modules.

theres a slight clicky sound on the claps, is something clipping v slightly or is the module doing that?
@saren6538
@saren6538 4 жыл бұрын
its the crater doing that, the right side of teh crater has digital clicks and it can do this kind off clipping your talking about... its a fantastic module though. its hits really hard

Super cool. love the sequenced elements, but personally I prefer played note elements for that human feel with sequenced elements for that daft robot rock feel. Although you still have the human feel from playing the knobs lol. That pitch bend on those bells, super cool, I want one, adding to cart.
