Fact to add: The R34 WAS a bandwagon / mainstream car. Back in the maxi2 to maxi3 days because in Maxi2 it was crowned as the best car in the game; then the nerfs came in from Maxi 3 to 3dx+ and the hype which is The Fast and the Furious + Initial D 4th Stage Purple Shadow arc; but afterwards, the hype died especially when the Evos got all the good stuff afterwards and the Rotaries as well.

The only three reasons I’m getting an R34: 1. Performs like an R32 2. Has Nür version if you pick the color Millenium Jade 3. 6 gears

I like this car because of its reliability in all courses, balanced and great performance (I mean great acceleration and handling), heavy weight (which lesser chance to punished by other players) and most importantly, not bandwagoned and has cool body. I was get a bit trouble when used this car due to its heavy weight, but now I am confident with this car. Due to many people say "the car drives you", I called the R34 "The Devil R".

I have only one car and that is the Evo III....Became a fan of it after Sudo Kyoichi appeared with it in Inital D. I chose this car over Evo VI cos guess I am very comfortable with it and can use it in battles to my liking. As for why Evo IV is not in,you have to ask Namco.

Glad to see someone approve of the R34. Most of my squad has a 34, but I've been using it since 1. For R34 counts there are a lot in NA, and I do rank high amongst those numbers in TA. It's a great car to start with and build your skill, but once you switch up, you can push yourself a lot further. Your best friend is 5th gear, its acceleration is rather nice on courses like Fukuoka.

Aufar Raden R35 has a higher top speed, but is also the heaviest. Most use it only as a Yoko/Wangan/Minato TA car, for the most part.

Akuma! I would just like to know... For beginers like me what car should I use? I have very bad turning skills especially in Osaka... I am currently using a a Nissan Skyline V-Spec II in WMMT 3dx+ but planning to play on 5dx soon... What would you suggest for me? I was thinking of FR or AWD cars but haven't really tried FR cars at all... Still contemplating on either getting an EVO, an RX-7, or another skyline... Would appreciate your advice for me bro! No matter what car you pick, if you don't have the base skill - the car is not going to help To memory, there is only one FF car in the game, with the rest being FR and AWD - but it doesnt make much of a difference (this is a game, not RL) Pick a car you like and stick with it - skill->car

Fact: its not actually a R34, its a BNR34, cuz its the actual R34 is a grip car and 4WD, so that might be a kinda improper for wmmt, the BNR34 is somekind of wannabe, but its RWD so u can drift and handles good. The similarities are quite unsimilar, well try finding out.

He would be better in another car - the RK coup puts you at a disadvantage against other cars such as the GTR32/34 and evos

R34 requires no skill to use

Besides the gear difference? Weight and wheelbase. From driving a friend's R32 in 5, the handling is slightly nicer on sweeping courses. Of course since the R34 is bulkier, and can take a wallop or two. It's kind of a coin-flip, as top speed is similar. Take it easy! -Kaiju

Hands down, R34. The ZR1 does have better torque, but the top speed isn't well off to counter its poor handling.
