My wife loves the WMX1 at weddings, Easier to work than the dmx sliders. Working with two wash fx hex, 16 rock wedges, 4 strips, 4 freedom sticks. I will be connecting my ADJ entour ice and ProX cold sparklers soon.

Great video, thanks! I recently bought 20 BothLighting uplights and have been controlling them with their app so far and I am frustrated with the app. It only seems to work half the time. Definitely not reliable, so I need something that will allow me to relax knowing that I’m in good hands. Plus I also use a Chauvet Wash FX Hex for my dance lighting. I would like to add that into the WMX1 as well. I noticed that you have a DMX cable going from the WMX1 to the Hex. Is that just for programming, and it will run wirelessly out at the event? Will I need anything additional to go between the unit and the uplights, like a dongle to accept wireless signal that I connect to the Hex? TIA!

I run a donner TX (dongle) to my Hex's and rockvilles. also using a chauvet dfi tx for my freedom sticks. Both dongles plugged into the WMX1, Works great!

Wow, months ago I was afraid of pulling the trigger for my Wash Fx Hex and got the Obey 6. Your demo proven that it maximizes the fixture’s capabilities, seems like you can do WAY more with Wash FX.

Is it able to do any pixel chases? I like the auto and sound mode on the wash fx because of the eye candy where it moves around the light but everything Ive seen from DMX controllers make it act like a par light with no independence of the 6 pixels

Well with the wolf mix all you have to to do is make sure both wash fx are on the same channel and that’s it.

What’s up brother. Can I edit the preset to control the dimmer on all? Biggest complaint I have I how bright the Wash FX constantly stay.

Yes you can just set the dimmer to the brightness you want and make that a preset.

hello DJ Jimmy = question: I own two each = of the Chauvet wash hex = so, what is best wat to set up the WMX1 = do I insert a qty of two each lights in the amount menu? = or do I set the two lights up as master one and set the second unit as a slave unit. and then just select the amount number to be one = ine the WMX1 unit? = which option is the best? thanks steve

I choose only 1 qty and assign Booth wash FX to that same channel so they Booth do the exact same thing.

I use the chingly dongles and it works great but I heard you can also use the Donner Dongles as well.

so the patterns that it does at the very start of the video (flicking between the different sets of 3 LEDs) CANNOT be triggered by the wolf mix ?

Yes they can. There is a setting in there that allows it to do just that I just choose not to use that function cuz I like them all to do the same thing.

How do I set up my DMX fog machine to use the smoke machine button?

Find and load the fog machine profile into the WMX1. Set up your fog machine/ match your DMX channel. Next, your fog machine has options like how many channels are available ( ex: 3,6 7 channel) I would select the fewest channels. Fog on-fog off-duration- intensity just to name a few. My ADJ Entour ice has up to 6 channels. I only use channel 1, on and off. Hope this Helps.

What do you mean? I have the Wash Hex and I'm torn between the Soundswitch & Wolfmix. The Soundswitch requires a subscription. That's the part I don't like.
