She just gave basketball a bad name and maybe the WNBA can fire some of the other girls. We need better role models in our ladies sports that our young girls can look up to like Clark. Do you remember when the NBA played"double headers" in barn like arenas with no TV contracts???? When all-Black Texas Western beat all-white Kentucky in NCAA basketball championship the NBA began to draft great Black players who changed the game,got TV contracts,new arenas,double headers gone and NBA basketball became global in interest. Marketing and money could make WBNA get TV contracts and become self-supporting. Female basket ball ,pays MORE,is POPULAR in Europe,Asia and doesn't need the Great White Hope Caitlin Clark. You can't fix the race/woke issue, that issue alone will prevent her overall appeal to the other players (pride thing), although the fans couldn't disagree more. Maybe let Caitlyn sit out a year or two, work on her golf game (and BB), let them go back to 5000 tickets per game, commercial flights, let them feel the sting of their hate. Better idea, have some players step up and decry the hate and embrace her, acknowledge they fumbled the ball and make way for JuJu, and Hannah and others to be welcomed for their star quality. I think that black players will have an easier go of it, I do believe that this was about race to a fairly large degree.
