Almost ALL our Home games are called by Dick Fain & Elise Woodward, nothing new there. Now sometimes a Nationally televised game will be called by a neutral Team of Announcers, but i guess too many were busy with the CFB games today!!? And oh btw, he is the Best Announcer in the entire Dubya!!

Horston had a great game. It must be hard to decide who to start between Horston and GW but I think we would see a higher level from GW if she had been with the Storm all season to be familiar with new teammates. In a full season, I could see one going to the All-Star game and the other winning the 6th player award but maybe one of them will play for Golden State next year.

@@donovan7102 Google AI search results say the league has no set rules on expansion drafts but sets the procedures after consulting with the player's association, but then it gives some rules (based on prior expansion drafts or internal memos it has read?), that include each existing team can protect up to six players from being taken by the expansion team but that the expansion team can draft anyone else despite contract status to include unrestricted free agents. Any player you intend to core would of course also be one of your 6 protected players, and under this scenario with the current lineup, we would expect both Horston and GW to be protected. The core designation is for unrestricted free agents that basically takes away their free agency (why do they call them unrestricted if they can be cored?) to keep them with their current team for another year but also assures them maximum salary. Each team can core one player each year. The core rules are confusing to me. If another team wants to sign a cored player, they have to negotiate with the team that cored the player, is that right? So even though the player is allegedly a free agent, you might have to trade a draft pick to get that player and also pay them maximum salary? Is that right?
