@@meredith_vintage - If any of 'em have sign-offs or test patterns, I for one would be most appreciative for sure. Or sign-off newscasts (for which, on WNBC, those on duty in that shift would have handled - such as Bill Rippe and Fred Facey).

On this airdate: August 1979 was also the same time where PBS stations across the country including my local PBS station: KPBS from San Diego, California all conducted the Summerfest 1979 Membership Pledge Drive from Friday August 17th through Sunday August 26th, 1979!! TV Worth Staying Home For!!
