Oh how I love NYC blocks. PM Magazine (NYC version) co-host Danielle Folquet would marry Lee Mazzilli, a Pirate at the time, on 2/4/84. Bill Brown hosting the NY Lottery drawing for some years before one Yolanda Vega became a household name for her personable and bold delivery. 102 was latter billed at its proper frequency of 101.9 FM, with smooth jazz along with 'love songs....nothing but love songs". All this taking place about 2 years before Fox would establish itself as the modern 4th network.
