For the first time in almost nine years, while lacking a technical preparation and unpredictable waiting, Telemundo's NY/NJ station WNJU began transmitting their newscasts in high definition on March 29, 2012 - moving away from the office-like newsroom and equipping WNBC's 2003 graphics and music. Being that was indeed a much needed change, this is the second Hispanic TV station after WXTV-DT (Univisión) and the last major affiliate to showcase programs in HD. Enhanced with a new state-of-the-art studio, a bold fresh music package (roughly used for two years), and revamped graphics (formerly inspired and picked up by Nexstar stations).
In honor of the 12 years serving in FHD, this is the theme music used in their newscasts under "Noticiero 47". The composer is identitifed as unknown at the time this was reconstructed, but there are confirmed other variants arranged as a package. One peculiar cue was used for their 47th Anniversary station ID.
