Just unlocked Heavenly Dragon difficulty, and my go-to weapon for Water build has to be Gan Jiang & Mo Ye. The damage numbers are significantly higher than other dual weapons. Post-patch, the fact we can have 8 spells, & 6 martial arts per weapon, is peak awesome-sauce.

Safest bet in most cases TBH, last thing you want is an enemy type that hard counters you

I was trying to get every stat up to 40 but I found out that the level cap is 150. 😅. So I got wood, earth, & water up to 40 each. Technically I know I don't need earth or wood that high but I like to use various spells to counter elements bosses use.

Love all your videos. I played water through ng+ , now playing poison and A nice build is poison calamity build, when you get many debuffs and status on enemies you nuke them for 3-5k damage with calamity spell as it does more damage with each negative effect applied on the enemy. It's sick especially with lingbao grace set, but without it it's also op. With it it's the best build rn. I use azure glaive because it's martial arts is fast short and high damage, fast in fast out, fast applying debuffs and buffs.

I love fire but I'm running a mix of fire and water because I just love the dual swords and their moveset/martial arts

Water build definitely carries you to the end of the game. But on NG+ I didn't find it as effective as it is on NG. For me, the poison + fire build has been the best one on NG+. If you get the lightning element on the weapon and manage to cause burn, shock and poison, the enemy's health AND spirit will be depleted on its own. Put on the lingbao grace and you're good to go. The only downside of this build is to face fire enemies, but even so it's not a huge deal since the basic attack damage will also be high thanks to the lingbao grace.

I really dont like short-ranged weapons like katanas/sword or dual blades etc. I played Nioh 1 and 2 with Spear and Odachi, which has long range thrust/poke or wide sweeps that can hit multiple enemies at once. But lets say I want to do a water build like this cause I really like those spells you showcased, do I have to use these weapons or are there Spears/Halberds/Glaive type of weapons that scale of water so I can use those instead or am I literally forced/locked-into using specific weapon types like for example dual sword if I want to do a water build?

Thanks for the build Cowboy...this helped carry me through the game so far. Keep them coming. Also the gators are weak to fire and have you thought about using wizardry spell damage in place of a couple of sub stats

I love the weapons and the damn move sets in this game. I’ve found the one handed swords fit my play style the most. But I wanna try the other variations. I just got my 100% completion achievement this morning. I love this game lmao. It’s so fun.

You should try the 2 fire buffs, with ominous chill. I think you need 30 fire. And on new game + the monkey dies with just three spells of ominous chill. Nutty damage.

I have a very similar build to this - I'm not sure how much value there is in going beyond 70 in your main stat though. I noticed your dual blades do 603 damage which is like 20 more damage than mine at 70. Would you not be better served putting those points elsewhere or are you finding that the damage increase is noticeable in battle?

@@pedrobastos6583 the fire enchant you can get easily in part 4 centuries of glory burned away, when you spawn at the start run down the stairs and just run through the fire at the end on the right theres a loot icon its always a 4 star cav spear and has the fire enchant on it farm it a couple of times you can get as many as you like quick and easy the rest of the enchants is as the man says random unfortunately, hope this helps mate. @FightinCowboy grats on the little one best wishes and keep up the awesome walkthroughs etc thoroughly enjoy it.
