Hello everyone! Today on our channel, we continue our mountain hikes. As part of this series, we travel by camper through the Bieszczady Mountains, introducing you to this region and its culture. The hiking trails in the Bieszczady Mountains are usually wild and full of forests, and today will be no different. We decided to go to Wołosań, which is well known but not often visited. We might not have discovered it ourselves if not for the challenge we have taken on, organized by PTTK Sanok. It's called the Crown of Bieszczady, and to earn this trophy, you must climb 15 peaks in the region.
Wołosań, the hero of today's episode, can also be reached from the town of Cisna, the most famous town in the Bieszczady Mountains. When leaving Cisna, it is worth visiting the hut under Hon. However, we decided to choose a trail from Żubraczy.
We need to get to Żubraczy and find a bay on a dirt road where we can leave our car. Directly from the parking lot, we can head towards Hyrlata. However, if we want to climb Wołosań, we have to walk about 300 meters on asphalt and cross to the left side of the road to get on the trail leading to the summit.
In the second part of our video, we will take you to the town of Maniowe, where we found a parking lot with beautiful views of the High Bieszczady Mountains. This place is not only charming but also intimate and peaceful. There is a shelter in the parking lot where you can leave your car and spend the night in the wild. The only drawback of this forest parking lot is the lack of a nearby shop. You will find all the necessary information about the trail to Wołosań and the forest parking lot in our video.
