Suggestion - Why dont you purchase those light weight GPS tags and attach it to the drone . In case of Drone battery draining you will still be able to locate the GPS tag on your mobile

Do these GPS tags work where the drone loses the signal ? Because the drone didnt lose battery. Initially it was a problem with signal transmission !!
