Everyone was praying for Daniel's downfall not just against aj, but against usyk, miller and Hygovic. Listen to the media they were predicting him to lose every single one of his last 4 fights and dismissing his chances. He's recieved nothing but negative press .There is nothing wrong with picking a fighter to lose, but when there is a pattern and certain energy then Don is right to back his fighter. If eddie hearn or ben was receiving the same level of negative attention against aj, then aj proved the world wrong, they would be everywhere gloating how he and aj proved everyone wrong against ''the haters' and you'd be all for it. And there is no evidence Don would have been sacked if he lost to aj, Daniel lost to Usyk with Don in his corner, he still kept his job.

I agree with Don. Gareth is always trying to hype the next big fight. He wanted to see Joshua Fury happen, so he picks Joshua in order to generate buzz for that next fight he hopes will happen. Its good for his business to do that, and he's been doing it for years. He's just a marketing shill for Turki at this point.
