episode 3 is where this show realy picks up. the reason you recognize so many voices is because critical role has a lot connections in the voice acting scene. the cast is stacked as hell.
@anamariefalk37964 ай бұрын
Yes!! And being a fan of critical role and cartoons is wild because it’s always connected to Critical Role in some way. Like I will never get over Felicia Day as Betty in Adventure Time or Ashley and Robbie as Lake and Jamie, or Ashly Burch in anything at all. And the fact that Sam voice directed Ducktales and his sister Eden voice directed for The Owl House, like it’s all connected. Which annoys me because somehow Elijah is the first person in the animation sphere on KZbin to talk about this show, when all of the history and connections should be so important and relevant to other creators.

Fun story related to Vex running away with the gold in this episode: Vex is played by Laura Bailey. In Critical Role's second campaign -- different story, different characters -- Laura's character (Jester) has an Eastern European accent. In one of their games, they start talking about gold, and out of nowhere, Laura starts talking in a British accent, full Vex voice. She surprised even herself 😂 Everyone joked that as soon as she heard "gold", Vex jumped out from her subconscious and had to talk 😂

RWBY meant a lot to me when I joined that fandom in 2015, but ever since Monty Oum died, it's quality has been all over the place. Vox Machina, on the other hand, already has its story completed and the adaptation has been fantastic so far. After watching: If you haven't seen David Tennant doing such a dark and villainous voice, you must not have seen some of his darker speeches as The Doctor or his role on Jessica Jones. OH MY GOD, I haven't seen the Dragonology book in ages! I thought I was the only one! My specialty was dragon riddles. Never know when you need to bribe/distract a dragon with wit.

Really hope the views and next episode (if this hasn't already) convinces you to continue watching it. Episodes 1 and 2 were an introduction but Episode 3 is where the story starts.✨
