Hi, Natalie. I was curious to know how do you take care of your footwear especially the fine leather shoes/boots? Do you use a kit at home or do take them to a shoe cobbler? How do you care for the crack off-white Tabi shoes?

I’m pretty low key with my shoes. I’ll take them to a cobbler when the leather soles need fixing or maybe add an insole for extra comfort, but otherwise, I just leave them as is. I try not to wear my nice shoes in bad weather-I learned my lesson after ruining so many pairs when I was younger by carelessly wearing them in the rain or snow. Now, if the weather is bad, I’d rather wear a Gortex Salomon sneaker. As for my crackled Biachetto tabi shoes, I haven’t done anything to protect them. Honestly, I’m looking forward to seeing the white paint chip off more with each wear. It’ll add this unique patina to the shoes that I think will look even better over time!

The diffe3rence between Le Labo and Byredo is that other people smell Le Labo in a non-intrusive way all day (leading to loads of compliments), and nobody smells Byredo after 1 hour.

I find it depends on which scent. For example Le Labo Baie 19 is one of my favourite scents from the brand and after an hour it fades on my skin. On the other hand, Byredo De Los Santos, 1996, and Rose Of No Man's Land are long lasting scents thanks to the warmer notes such as Amber, Patchouli, Leather accord, and Musks. But then, Byredo Mojave Ghost fades quickly on me and I'm constantly having to respray throughout the day.

Those Commes des Garçons pants are fabulous, and that shirt is gorgeous. The red and black outfit, another hit . Love the By Redo fragrances but they are so fleeting, don’t last half an hour. Just saying..could be just me.
