Since I just burned all my rune stash getting Mao to 7/7, I won't be able to properly test him (I'll get the class, just not invest in him yet), but from what I read from his skills, it seems that the devs are trying to open some alternative party composition, such as him, nidhogg, RK and possibly Khalitzburg, taekwon and even soulbinder (high dark dmg in holy converted mobs, low damage intake due to his area effects forcibly converting enemy damage to dark and reducing dark damage, increased magic damage and life loss damage). Most dps can't deal dark dmg however, so it seems harder to make it work compared to ronin+saint+any support...

They are slowly buffing some older classes. One of the recent ones I've loved was the MDB build. They made dragon breath so strong and I actually love that build. Probably one of my favourite builds using an old class.

The direction where RoM is going right now is more towards the MOBA trend.. This is now the era of heroclass powercreep where they are effectively the 5th class. Adventure classes only exists now for nostalgia and classification of heroclasses..😂

Just import the 4th class from the original RO classes and have it implemented as 5th class with the same mechanic and tweak them. That way the classes can be viable again

we need another new dungeon like Thanatos where it require teamplay and mini -games strategy to complete instead of straightforward gameplay by just killing enemy...like how you need to drag the mob to different colors to destroy the tower, collect keys to finish the final boss and every floors required good understanding of the gameplay in Thanatos tower. The new dungeons where the mobs are just harder to kill are just boring.

I agree, TTL promotes great teamwork. I'd also say Museum 3F also does as well. There is an upcoming "new mode' coming out eventually that has some different mechanics. It's kinda like a control the point type of game...could be interesting. Ghost Palace is pretty boring mechanic wise, I'd like something more fun.

​@@AlvinXian I think they will release the 2nd hero class of original job first before they released the alternate job we still missing taekwon pd and sbx 1st hero class while the slayer wataru and inferno possibly don't have hero class cuz its a bcc class means no free hero class for them

It is magic. Not melee and ranged DPS. You would be using magic gear

honestly its a wasted opportunity for devs to give him a team dark convert to atleast shake up the meta in airship, where everyone relies on a premium class unlocked only by whales. nidhogg got some huge buffs only for herself and a dark attacker taewon tho 😂
