He should do his research properly before he talks about anything. So much of what he says has holes in it long story short it's a lot of bullshit

Ramona Spice Well, Grenada is geographically part of the Island group called Grenadines. Which is not the same as talking about the countries, meaning, he was completely right: en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grenadines

He and other discovered people that people lived on these lands. Then he went back home told the rulers of the bigger lands(with guns and tricks) that there is plenty space and good weather for them to turn the world into a big hub for trading. others were there before him, they just did not take the time to log it all.

Hey Google. Did the Bank of England own Slaves ? At one point in the 1700s, the Bank's role as a lender also led to it owning two plantations and their enslaved workforce in Grenada as security on a loan to a business that could no longer be repaid. Individuals involved with the Bank were also personally linked to slavery.

How the hell do you mispronounce Grenada. Everyone knows its pronounced, Gre-NAY-da, and if the locals pronounce it that way, that should be a hint, that that's the correct pronunciation. Anyways, interesting video. I would like Carriacou. No mass tourism, or high rise resorts.

Joshua Leonardo Granada people don't speak Spanish though, they speak English. You're gonna teach locals how to pronounce the name of their own island? Anyone watching this video should not be left with the misunderstanding that the rasta tri colours are caribbean or Jamaican in origin. It is the flag of Ethiopia that the rastas adopted because of Emperor Haile Selassie and biblical indoctrination. Bob Marley as great as he was did not influence the Zimbabwe flag. The inspiration for the flag was the Pan African movement. I love Rastafari sense of African identity, however, the religious aspects is highly suspect adopting the religion of conquest is not liberation but mental and spiritual subjugation. To thin own self be true!

I do not want to listen anymore to incorrect information regarding the history of some of these island in the Caribbean. Like America there was various tribes the original who were dark skinned. I was told by my grandmother families were sold and shipped to different isles in the Caribbean. She originally came from venezuela.the colonizers mixed there seed tho bring about different shades. E.g. caribs from st Vincent who became red and yellow carib. All of the dark skinned carib were wiped out because they fought back unlike the light skinned mulattoes. I feel like my history has been retold for others purpose,to lay claim of always been the fore runner. I am very disturbed and upset and it is time the truth be known.

Thanks for the video but it would be appreciated next time to find out how the inhabitants pronounce the name of their island or country. You are actually telling them that they are wrong. It is a lack of respect to thousands of people who live there. When the British changed the french name from La Grenade, they called it Grenada. -Gre-nay-da.

The original name was changed by Christoper Columbus, then the Spanish sailors changed it to "Granada". The French and the British who ruled changed it to the form of "La Grenade" and then the British "Grenada". That is the name that the British gave it as it is today with a different pronunciation. It is Gre-nay-da and not Gre-nah-da. Nobody in Grenada speaks Spanish except if a few Venezuelans have gone there recently. You might quicker find French patois being spoken. I hear the same pronounciation by American TV announcers. Yet they are the first to criticize everyone. Respect!
