Unfortunately, they stopped teaching Swahili in schools a very long time ago. Kids sometimes learn a few words&phrases of African dialects when their Grandparents or other Elders say African proverbs to them in African dialects.

In Jamaica we have top buxton, middle buxton and lower buxton. These colonial names would have all vanished if we had conscious and revolutionary politicians! Instead we have inherited polytrictors who have lined their pockets instead! So sad!
