Jokes aside, you are included in that list you mentioned which reinforces the idiom "the best comes from the west", mindful that is some feat because Ghana is up there so the west[ern region] is the best of the best. Also pink is fine in the sunshine, light colours reflect sun and keep you cool. If you are comfortable with what you wear that is all that matters. You ask a pertinent question about OUR resources and it is not just a problem for the Western Region but simply those in charge have given OUR resources away ! Change is needed & fast !!!

Thank you for showcasing this beautiful resort. Regarding development, companies pay the government of Ghana for development impact fees and permits. In addition, they pay more than enough VAT, fire, environmental, and ongoing fees to cover the cost of developing and maintaining infrastructure. Despite these payments, there seems to be a mismanagement of funds, which is the likely cause of the lack of infrastructural development throughout Ghana. ✌🏾
@kwawkwansah24528 ай бұрын
It is not just a mismanagement of funds it is mismanagement of the resources due to weak leaders. Any mining and extraction of resources should remain under the state for and on behalf of the people. Have a look at Aramco and who is effectively the only stakeholder in that enterprise. Governments are given a mandate to represent the people, something which in Ghana and Africa they abysmally fail to do !

You may need to actively listen a bit more so it doesnt give the appeearance you are coming with the intent to sow a seed of discord ? It is an affectionate term used in Ghana for a particular region which has massive resources. Tourism is only a tiny part of what this region of around 14,000km² provides it has many resources and sources of revenue.

The government is disrespectful to its people by making them live like closer to animals than HUMAN beings who have dignity and respect. How can you look at what Dubai and Qatar have done for their own people within their riches and then look at Ghana’s decision makers with ANY RESPECT. We can’t! We respect WODE MAYA, but we see the government and political leaders for the negligent NON-leaders that they are. Shame on you all for making your people live such undignified lives.

African food is number one. Firstly, Africa has a lot more foods than Jamaica. Secondly, most of Jamaican food derived from African food, especially West Africa. I have eaten both African foods and Jamaican food. Jamaican food is good however Africa takes this one.
