Maya was very brave to walk bare footed as well to go up there. The last time i walked up the top mountain is when i was in grd 4. We use to fetch grass to build the roof top of the house. What a breathtaking environment. Could imagine sitting on the rocks for hours trying to take it all in. The guide spoke about the tree fighting to live compared to humans who at times want to give up - strong analogy.
