0:42 this is literally 30 seconds of absolute gold I don’t even know where to start with praising it Okay I can do this. It’s an amazing scene to cover and easily one of the most epic moments in the book. The colors are magnificent especially with the red standing out so well due to being a bright color surrounded by dull dark greens. The Othermind revealing its existence for the first time in a very spine-chilling way and gloating about how screwed everyone else is matched with this voice so well. The anger/confusion in Sundew’s expression and curiosity/worry in Cricket’s expression are spot on with their reaction to this twist. Willow going out of her comfort zone by using her anger to fuel herself into impaling Hawthorn lines up perfectly with her exaggerated screams of resistance. And the designs are phenomenal. Alright I think I got all of it
