@@Henockpatty Check on Wikipedia and you'll find answers for all your questions regarding Szczesny. Ter Stegen with all due respect will never achieve the level of Szczesny. Szczesny is very experienced and played in two leagues extremely difficult for goalkeepers . He is respected and remembered as one of the best in the world in both (and still better than Ter Stegen ). He retired on his own conditions. Szczesny has already some business plans in architect profession. He can really help Barca out of curiosity but he won't stay longer than one year.

Navas is a great goalkeeper, but Szczęsny has much better reflexes and quick reactions. He saved the Polish national team more than once. Thanks to him, Poland advanced to the European Championships. At the World Cup, he brilliantly saved Messi's penalty. He is one of the best goalkeepers in the world. Personally, I think he is even better than Ter Stegen, whom I value.

@@godzilla09er Marc heavily relies on reflexes, while the Polish Keeper has both great reflexes and good anticipation, and he's huge. It's close but I still think Szczesny has the edge, he'll only need to regain form and work on the ability to play with the ball at his feet.

Objectively speaking, Szczęsny is a better goalkeeper than tS-more reliable and definitely providing a much more consistent level of performance. He’s a goalkeeper who hasn’t had the dips in form that tS has experienced. One more thing-Barça is making some mistakes in player selection-the number of injuries is not just a matter of bad luck. Unfortunately, in the case of tS, it’s also not a coincidence, and I’m afraid that even after recovery, he’ll always be a player with higher health risks. Sadly, he has serious knee problems. The money spent on a player must be justified on the field. Just look at someone like Olmo, for example. And compare the duration of injuries between tS and Szczęsny.

Yes This Last name is pretty weird for foreigners, let me explain what it means and how you should pronounce it. First we have 4 letters "szcz", but it is two sounds first "sz" is similar to English "sh" for example in word "shake" and the second "cz" is similar to English "ch" for example in word "check". I think combining this in slavic languages is popular. Croatian song for Eurovision 2023 has a title "Mama ŠČ" and this sound "ŠČ" is similar to ours "szcz". The fifth letter "ę" is polish vowel is the most weird one. It is only in polish and lithuanian alphabet and I think there is no sound like this in English. Wikipedia explains that is: "nasal e" whatever it means. Only example i have it's french club "amiens" where this "en" sounds like polish "ę" Other letters it's pretty normal "s" like "s" in word "sun", n like "n" in "nose" and "y" is tricky. It is not like in word "tricky" it is more similar to polish "i". I think "listen" in great example, where this first "i" sounds like polish "y". So you have "Szczęsny" pronounced like "Shchensnyi"? Idk, if I explained it right, but polish is very weird languages. We had many players with hard pronunciation like BVB duo "Piszczek" and "Błaszczykowski" Fun fact if you read it all "Szczęsny" comes from the word "szczęście" which means "luckyness". So "Szczęsny" basically means "someone lucky". I am real madrid fan but I wish you Barca fans that Szczęsny would be "szczęsny" in Barca

He was to expensive for Juventus who was struggling with money (Szczęsny had one of highest salaries in club) and also wanted to bring younger keeper for years to come. Szczęsny didn't wanted to be sub for other keepers so refused offers from some big clubs like Man Utd, Arsenal and Ajax. He said that he can still play on high level but he doesn't see anything that would challenge him and bring him joy to play.
