Much as I hate how dub crews think they have any authority over the original creatives behind the media they work in, I'd still rather see a small team of actually passionate fans doing the voice acting over AI. Having said that, no dub and fan translations are better than anything given how obnoxious the people in translation agencies are when thinking they have to "improve" the media.

It is moral to never hire localizers. Localizers are bigots and criminals. Human translators are better. Accurate language translating is showing honor to ensure the intent is the same in a different language. Even I support Japan-only content to never worry about censorship for other countries. Let’s use something a lefty can relate to. A generic product that appeals to everyone, is not going to make furries to spend money like crazy, and be happy about it. A product that was tailored for Furries, will make furries really happy, and happily pay for the product, shouting “Sh up and take my hard earned money” Same logic, a product that was tailored for lesbians, will make lesbians really happy, and willing to dump money on the company that made it. The products may not appeal to people that’s not their target, but they can make their targets really satisfied like not other things can. It’s a win-win for both the customers and the makers. Toilet paper is for everyone, and did you see anyone being crazy and happy when they but toilet paper? NO! If they want to make everyone in the world happy in the name of inclusivity, it is a better option to make different kinds of products with different target audiences, than slacking off producing one giant mess and force people from all different backgrounds to like the same mutant blob of slime monster.

Their move worked since i have returned recently and gave them my cash to buy Enya nurse outfit. Game have improved a lot with new modes, events, free SSR characters like Enya or one of your choosing of old chara pool and also doubling stamina cap for all players. It's a perfect side game that is more fun to play than other gachas because you shoot your guns not the ai that is doing animation as 2d/2.5d model.

Less likely to be a glitch than an actual Goggles employee deciding that you can buy that game due to their personal 'morality'. I'd be willing to bet that if you deleted that game from your listing the problem would disappear too. I follow a lot of Japanese Dojin creators and have been recently told that I can no longer buy from a lot of sites (DLSite, Fantia, Fanbox) as Western payment processors (Visa, Mastercard, Paypal, Amazonpay) will no longer process for them due to their 'adult' content. I'm not in Japan so I can't open a JCB account an I'll be damned if I'll give my bank details to Alipay and the Chinese government.

I've been playing the game ever since the 2nd update. The gameplay is passable and to be honest, they still have a lot to improve on. NPC AI is still horrible, especially the latest "pokemon" mode where you can capture some enemies and make them work for you, but they keep shooting walls and sometimes completely ignore hostiles who are attacking us. Explosive barrels and the cover system feels meaningless. Owning certain operators can make you bruteforce almost everything in the game. As for the fanservice, I do agree they are very appealing. They keep introducing different kinds of waifu archetypes and showing off fanservice skins. The latest patch even have extended interactive scene with 1 of the girl in her nurse outfit. I think most people would prefer the Chinese / Japanese voiceovers anyway so nothing of value was lost in term of English voice acting.

If every English dub was as good as the Black Bullet English dub they'd be popular and booming. Sadly, though, uncensored and passioned English dubs are diamonds in the ruff. The VAs for Rentaro and Enju went HARD in that dub and the lines weren't censored to high Hell. Enju's (a loli) quote "You know you liked it." is dubbed WORD FOR WORD.

I saw this stuff when another channel put it up. I will say the same thing about the English VAs here. If they don't like that the Devs chose fan service to make money for the game. They have no business being there at all. So the Devs should just stay the course with what they are currently doing and don't bother with the English VAs.

I don’t see why anyone would want an English dub anyway. When I first tried out Genshin and it was defaulted to the English dub, I felt so much secondhand embarrassment by the lack of skill and passion, that I had to take a break while downloading the JP dub. The last time that English VA was truly well done, was with the first TLoU or with VtMB. Can’t remember any other instance where the VAing was on point and didn’t make me cringe.

Funny that the only EN VA that I would insist on keeping the dubs would probably be Arknights. The kek part about it is some of the former EN VA's in Snowbreak, Megan Maczko (Lyfe), Eleanor Bennett (Marian), and Rosie Jones (Chenxing), are playing the characters Liskarm, Dagda, and Plume, respectively are IN Arknights. EDIT: yeah Heather Nicol (Fenny) has Goldenglow and Ptilopsis, Harriet Carmichael (Enya) has Shaw and the two Specters, Penelope Rawlins (Acacia) has Kazemaru, Melantha, and Pudding, Clare Corbet (Siris) has Estelle, and Hollie Taylor (Fritia) has Eyjafjalla, Meteorite, and Myrtle. I'm wondering hypothetically, if I'm a voice actor and I have a lucrative job or contract elsewhere after the fact. I might honestly think twice before accepting a contract with something that is deemed lewd 18+ especially if my current contract is not for that audience per say. Nothing personal and it really doesn't matter IMO a job is a job. But consumers create controversy. So I might just not get involved and turn down the job. English dubs are always soulless, they don't even try, not just the emotional notes, but even using the right words however mandarin is such a hideous language, so id rather Korean or Japanese dub even if its a done poorly, over any English or mandarin the other problem with English subs or dubs is; they don't even use the appropriate formal language when its relevant, English still has formal and informal language yet not only can the not even do basic translation, but these hacks didn't even learn basic English

I have mixed feelings about this. I prefer an English dub. However, I don't want The Woke Voice actors to pay any money, as it's just going to perpetuate this crap. As a thought, if they can't do the AI thing like you suggested, I would suggest simply hiring new voice actors. There are tons of them out there who would be glad to get a job and don't have their scruples. Who even uses English voice overs? Very few English VAs are even worth listening to. The amount of people who use English dubs in gacha games is like single digits anyway. No loss to the company, really. I immediately switch to Japanese dubs in my Neptunia games. I turned on English dubs for 3 seconds and already wanted to bash my head against the wall.

Most Eng streamers use EN dub because their audience can't read, but that's it. People outside of America and England usually don't bother with EN dub at all. American voice actors are whiny little Bs. We don't have such a*holes. Mexican voice actor Ruben Moya(our He-Man) not only did voice dubs, he did voice overs, narrations, tv commercial and what not!, he had an amazing voice and by GOD I couldn't think of a better He-Man than him. Another Example: Esteban Garcia, Venezuelan, better known as Lex Luthor from Justice League DCAU, you can spot his voice on film, narration for educative programs, Brazilian novelas... Literally any LatinAmerican voice actor is used in anything that requires a dub or a good voiceover or narration. Our voice actors are not a One Trick Pony, in fact some of them are The Whole Circus. They are THAT awesome. And want another interesting fact, some descendants have taken the mantle with the same success and dignity as their fathers and mothers. F-ing AWESOME!

I finally watched Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. Absolute 20/10. Japanese with English subtitles is the only way I can watch it. I was not disappointed.
