I used to live there, Horsell Village, Woking with my wife and son for about 6 years. I was brought up in Guildford. There is some nice parts of Woking like St Johns village and Horsell. We used to enjoy our walks down the canal.

Nice move buddy I miss woking ' I just lived there for a couple of months at 65 boundary road and still remember going to peacocks,chameleon, rat and parrot with friends.Woking is really very nice place to live.

Horray for woking! Born here, 21 years later still here! I can say ive been every single place photographed :P I really need to get out! Good video, only pointer to make is from the big apple, towards maybury is no longer part of woking/ england......Its now a colony of pakistan!

I'm from Woking. Its such a shame that in the 60's and 70's the council decided to destroy most of the old buildings. The really bad thing is they're still doing it

I used to work in Woking and always thought it was a grim, characterless place populated by a combination of ambitionless mouthbreathers and commuter zombies which is why I lived in Guildford which was populated by.......oh, wait a minute.

It's only now that I've started commuting to, and often spending time in, Farnham and Aldershot that I realise just how truly grim, dull and corporate Woking is. All parks and shops with the top slogans of the place usually touting it's proximity to other better places. And thanks to autoshare my friends from Farnham and Aldershot can see what must pass as our trailer.

I live in Woking and love it. I don't come from here, I choose to live here as there's a decent amount of shops, good transport links, rent's not as high as Guildford, decent live music scene here and in surrounding areas, lots of green space around and where I live is really quiet. Everywhere is full of chavs so that's not really a point on which to hate Woking (not sure why they act/talk/dress that way...are they unaware they are coming off as chavs?!)

Where else have you lived? I think by most peoples standards Woking is a good place. My wife and I are very happy to live here after living in Chelmsford. Not saying Chelmsford is bad, but Woking is a lot more convenient, and there are better jobs in Surrey - especially in IT.

I live in Wolverhampton, girlfriend lives in Woking, can honestly say, for all the bad press both cities get, it's pretty well justified, both are as bad as each other lol, except at least you guys have a decent shopping centre and not everyone wants my head on a stick outside their garden lol

I live in Woking and much as I like the place it is just a little boring, that said you missed out the parks and the supposed landing site of the martians, horsell sandpits and what about purfordwhere they have the occasional fete

All those slating Woking, its hard to take your criticisms seriously when you can only find 4 letter words and racial slants to express them. Woking may not be the best place to live in the world, it is also FAR from the worst. There is plenty to like about living in Woking and my wife and I are proud to live here. It's well situated, populated generally by people who want to get on in life, surrounded by countryside and interesting places. Does it have problems? Yes. Negativity doesn't help.

Your comment has proven to contradict but I can live with that. Woking is still as posh as it ''used'' to be. Also the majority of the Polish are construction workers, if you would like to join them go ahead. But you wouldn't join them so in this case someone has to do it. It's another issue settling to say they are helping the economy or not. It would be interesting to know ''which'' of the towns you actually call home. Comments are restricted by a small amount of words hence for short comment.

Oh yeah, one more thing, Nimrod, if you hate this town and the people in it so much, why do you not just move? Or have you not the courage to do something that would result in you having to leave the comfort of your dusy attic? Haha at 32 years of age you'd think he would have been able to compose himself better by now eh Addz? In all the years I have lived here i've never had any significant problems with anyone regardless of race. Looks like NimrodChad needs to get out of Woking a bit more. He'll soon see that there are FAR worse boroughs. Shame, we're now in the second decade of the 21st century and there are still people around us with a 1950s mindset with regards to racial equality.

Pigment in the skin doesn't scare me. You will see that most of the people I have criticized are white - chavs,italians,polish. The "diverse community" as you call it has turned Woking into the worst place in Surrey. Great if your Polish and you can make lots of money and go a home. Not so great if you own a house in Woking and the property value is under threat from the fast growth of poor immigrants and benefit level chavs around you. I'm not going anywhere. As you pointed out I'm "native"!

@spursboof thanks for the comment. l have to say when l made this video l just moved to england 2 months earlier and l didn't know anyone. The first thought to make this video to show my family back home, where l live now. Now lm living here more than 3 years, trust me l've been out many times. :)
