Just a quick note on the Golem summon. The one that makes it explode inside of your plague burst actually does a good bit of damage if your using Ailments or elemental damages. Makes it more useful ontop of being an HP split (Effectively damage reduction %)

Try using Parasite instead of Mortis and mod it for faster ticks per ailment stack. If you're applying a ton of ailments it makes a great nuke and you can also mod it to leech willpower instead of health for infinite resources. I'm currently lvl 76 and easily clearing 139 maps at the moment. Somewhat similar build though I take all the major nodes in Cabalist except the bugged crit ailment node. I don't take any ailment damage. I grab the defensive node in Timeweaver as well as the "Which time cannot heal" node which does a crap ton if you're applying stasis. Overall good advice

Since you play a bit around Ailment, shouldn't you use Attrition strategist for the 60% ailment chance (with the 25% elemental ailment chance node ) also Incidious Decay could be a good plus for the stacking of ailment since most of your damage are over time Otherwise it's a nice build, really like it, thanks ! :)

Which Time Cannot Heal node is very strong for bossing. I highly recommend it since you already use aether jump

Don't quote me, but I'd say yes, because you can't gain a resource back that hasn't been transferred. I have this problem on my warrior build. I use bladestorm for mobility, and I have very little reduction of transfer time. If I push too far with bladestorm, I can't gain a full rage bar, even drinking a potion, because half (or more) of my rage bar in the process of being transferred to willpower.

You need as much as you can get actually, didn't really check a certain point. But the more you have the easier it gets to play and will also give you more mobility ofc. You can run this build with a catalyst as well but with the skill choices you do not need to attack or scale attack damage, so almost no point.

@@frigginfranky with enough the transfer from WP > Rage is instant with staff. You still have 20% reduction from staff instead of the 50-90% from Catalyst.

​@@frigginfranky Simply put when you spend 100 wilpower you get 100 rage, staff ( % transfer time reduction ) would make this process much faster, so you can get back to willpower faster also. The stat it self does what it literally says, reduces the time that required to gain the opposing resource, so it is very useful for a caster to either auto attack and recover, or just pot up and recover. When you watch or play builds without this stat, you will see the resource bar graying out.

@@frigginfranky Not true, transfer time reduction makes it so that I gain the rage much faster, so that I gain the willpower back again faster also. Cost reduction is equally important if not more.

I notice you put critical dmg gem on your staff instead of spell critical dmg gem?

There are 3 versions, attack crit dmg, spell crit dmg and crit dmg. 3rd one works for all

@@mikefur3957 He was asking for my gems in my staff. With crit damage gem in offensive slot, offensive 1 gives Attack Crit damage, wouldn't work for me, since I use spells. Offensive 2 gives Spell Crit damage, would work for me, but my staff rolled Offensive 3, which gives global crit damage ( works for both attacks and spells but less than the other 2 values )

What is the purpose of the Golem in this, when it's not even doing anything other than trying to catch up the entire time? Anyway, these are the exact same skills I ended up using with my caster as well. Everything else was too slow. Unfortunately, even this "pure mage" will hit a roadblock around expedition level 100 - 110. Most of the progression builds are hybrids, and the top one is a caster that primarily uses "Mage" skills, but also Bleeding Edge and the scaling is just fine. If you want to continue playing as a pure caster, you need to get rid of the pet for something else. It doesn't do anything.

Almost nothing honestly, he does gain the agro and tank some telegraphs on big single target. Also why it is on 5th button, most chars looking at this build I am assuming won't have the 5th skill slot yet.

That's why it won't go any higher than about 80-90. There's only like 3/4 viable builds to reach the max level atm

I have not pushed yet, still optimising and gearing also leveling. But the character is already at 110 at level 72. Will continue come monday no rush, I am quite sure this build will be able to tackle 150+ with proper gear, you can see it on my channel coming week :)

Currently spells are all weak compared to the melee skills, especially bleeding edge which is 1 shoting everything in the game and allowing people to push to absurd monster levels in end game, hearing as high as 160 even tho max level for characters is 90
