Other than the launch hiccups that come with a great game that is reviewing well (growing popularity) and causing server loads the game is so amazing. I am so happy they didn’t give us everything during the beta; making the actual game feel fresh and filled with new features! This has the chance to be my daily driver AARPG taking first place over D3 and POE. At least for now. Can’t wait to get into the later parts and see how endgame holds up.

Just to let you know: the merchant Zeitgeist's spawn is randomized. I did 2 characters and met her at two different locations/maps on each character in Act 1, so far.

I can confirm the unique seller is either a random spawn or a timed spawn that appears in certain places at certain times she is defiantly not a set spawn though. I've played up to the same point on three different characters and she appears in different places every time.

I keep seeing people complain about walking and attacking being bound to the same button. Does nobody hold shift to hold position and attack? This is standard practice in every single ARPG

Not since PoE made it a toggleable feature.

@Jack Frost Yes. I've seen multiple complaints about it in more modern ARPGs. I don't think they understand that you can hold down shift to hold still while you attack.

depending on the side arm you have, using it with a shield turns it into a shotgun type spread too!

infinity blades (spell) has a modifier that lets you cast melee skills so if you dual wield a pistol, a holy relic, and use that skill you can get away with a build that can do it all.

Just a head's up: you do NOT get the same amount of primordial affinity from learning a skill compared to selling it to the vendor unless the skill only sells for 10 PA anyway. The majority you get though after the lower levels sell for 100 PA, and you DO NOT get that amount from learning the skill. You always only get 10 when you learn them, so it's not worth learning them all early on as opposed to selling them and leveling your skills up quicker.

Let's make one thing about enneracts clear: when you use it you will NOT get points, you will just learn an appropriate skill. You will get points for already learned skills only. It means you will waste those first few points even for skills you will never use. You can go to the vendor instead and sell this enneract to get points. Nothing dramatic, just saying.

He knows. He's saying that in the long run you save time and inventory space by simply using them the first time you encounter them. Otherwise if you find, say, 60 copies of Ice Nova, you have to make up to 60 separate trips to Stormfall to sell them. Then you have to repeat that for a hundred different skills. It's easier to just spam right-click on all of them and keep playing.

offline and online characters are separated, you cant play your online char if you go offline, but yesterday the servers were down, so not that many people know what it looks like online yet.

I think it's the same - Basic Attacks let's attack an enemy the moment you hover over it with the mouse and you can keep the mouse pressed to continue attacking. Basic Attack off means you have to click and release to attack

it seems that the Tab key will only make the mini-map larger, so there is still no way to see the whole dungeon/map in clear view, I like to explore every nook and cranny of these kinds of games, and it is hard to do when there is no overview, still the game is good (not better than GD) enough for me to continue playing.

Game crashed at the end of chapter 2 and my whole progress got reset, any way to skip forward? Tried changing "INTRO_Quest1" into " ACT2_Quest1", but didn't work. (character in offline mode and changed the text while the game was closed)

It's happens to me too, middle of Act 2 and crash and back to right at the beginning of Act 1. Just have to wait for the dev. to fix it, don't know how long will it takes.

I think online and offline databases are separate so your offline character cannot go online. Online is unfortunately experiencing launch day difficulties (to be expected) - but it should be solved in a day or so I assume and then you can make an online character.

@@datle-zg3bu Yes. Just hover the cursor on enemy and hold down the Left Mouse. If you equip melee and range weapon, it will always prioritize Melee. Meaning close combat. But if just wanna shoot range weapon, hold down LSHIFT + Left mouse.

No, unlike POE there aren't 15 billion currencies to keep track of. It's much more like diablo where it there are only several types of things that can drop.

As far as the depth goes, it is like a lighter version of POE, which I love, since the biggest issue with POE for me was the feeling that I needed to spreedsheet out my build or just copy someone else's before I even played or risk bricking a character before I even got to the endgame.
