How are you getting block chance when you didn't take the node that lets you block with any weapon? I have all the gems and I still have 0% block chance

Hi and thanks for taking the time to make this Guide! That said I need to point to a few things. 1st. An important node to take is to dodge roll through enemies and be able to "insert" yourself inside a group, I would skip follow abillity for 3 points. 2nd. Full ferocity is correct, but only on the attributes, gear MUST go full Toughness, especially late game + passive skills for + %life. 3rd. I wouldn't take the pure materials damage, since it boosts your damage very little and is simply not worth. 4th. The most important bonuses in my opinion are Toughness, health, skill time decrease, all res, phys res, rage per hit and/or kill. I am currently running lvl 103 maps, with 1h+shield, 11200 base damage, 100-110k crits and most importantly 67000 HP. Cheers!

Strong build, huge dps, my sheet is over 20k but it gets a bit squishy after 110 or so and can get 1 shot. Simply using a shield and 1 hand, dropping the 2H nodes and picking up block chance and block eff where possible fixes it. DPS still good enough and can survive everything.

You should do spin speed on axe instead of crit dmg and +30% dmg, it spins 12 times insted of 7 effectivly giving you a flat 71% damage increase give or take.

Doesn't Transfer Time Reduction between Willpower and Rage effectively reduce your transition from Willpower to rage? Seems like that's something you wouldn't want in a build that only utilizes Rage. EDIT: Scratch that, I believe I've got that backwards.

Hi, am a level 40 Bleeding edge build or sort of lol. I have been focusing on Critical hit chance , Crit Damage, Attk speed, and Dodge chance (50%) with most attributes on Ferocity and Toughness. Not sure its a good idea as am new to this and am just tinkering with diff builds as I go along. So far crit hit chance 38%. I do have material damage options on gear but not sure how that helps my overall damage . Is there a guide that explains all the terminology of what each thing does? Not sure if my path is a feasible one. Am in Act 3 at the moment.

Does not matter both are material damage

As Shef said, they're both material. The only case where it would make a difference is if you have any gear/skill that also boosts a specific material. If you have something boosting rend/bleed damage, then I would recommend getting more rend into your build than toxic or physical.

Question! disallowing vessel really worth it? it seems like I get 20-30% of effects and feels so slow. And I am not sure about 6 points on Praetorian don't we still able to get 3rd skill without it? Please let me know what you think :D

praetorian gives crit damage so i wouldnt drop it and disallowing vessel actualy feels pretty bad when u dont have movespeed on boots shoulda mentioned that sry

So you mention Gods amongst men node as being good to take unless you take residual energy. What do you mean...do i want to take that node now that i'm lvl 65.

residual energy will give u a buff depending on the spells base damage. most of them will give u elemental or occult damage which gets removed by this node. however u could get anihilation spell converted into toxic i guess that would work

Wouldn't you get the spell damage buff from a genesis gem slotted in the weapon. Since bleeding edge is a spell right? Do you find taking that material damage passive worth it?

I am just autoattacking and drinking potions. I actually respecced out of it as it was not all that great for me. But later on I will definitely use it.

Good and thorough content as always. Atm im running toughness/ non-crit focused on praetorian. Only clvl 31. When dmg falls off im speccing into this one :) Btw, what do you think of blood for blood for this build? And my toughness, noncrit how far could potentially take me for speedfarming?

hmm i think i tried blood for blood but i dont remember why i didnt like it. u could just put half the points in toughness and still crit since the higher crit chance score we get the less actual crit chance we get so the first 300 points are the most important

Why you all using that Bleeding Edge long duration mod when you are losing so much DPS and making that skill cost a lot more rage? That +1s duration is enough and faster spin with inc. area is must. While this less dmg spin ends its 360, mine ends 2nd spin + each with bigger dmg and less rage cost per use.

I wish you would slow down here cant understand half of it PS im 41 following your build and i have zero block ??? what have you missed out ?? FOUND IT your 1 point away from KINGLESS AEGIS and you didn't take it ???? so now you loose the block ability unless you have it on a random helm 100% of the time which sucks considering you'll make 200 helm changes before maxing out.
