Blue Weekend is the greatest album in decades. I live for music. So many amazing bands. Sooo many amazing albums. But this is different. This is….transcendent? You just listen. And keep listening. The journey. The emotion. The story. If you are driving while listening, and arrive at your destination….you just put it in drive and keep driving. Let this album surround you and take you to a whole new head space. The album loops beautifully on repeat.

I discovered them last year before BW came out and then I thought I've never heard anything like it; the diversity and musicianship between Bro's, Turn to Dust and Visions if a Life - what band dare do a 7 minute epic these days, it's a modern day Bohemian Rhapsody. I heard BW and thought (stupidly) oh no guitars.....but then started listening and can't stop. WA are on repeat and I'm yet to tire of anything. They're special; amazing live, amazing doing covers; amazing how they can also make one of their own epic songs epically their own (Sadboy live on late show). Long live WA

Same here. It's a masterpiece at interpreting the perfect emotion with the perfect note. Each member contributes so much. They continue the tradition of great music from our brothers and sistarts across the pond. YET, they have all the sensibilities of American influences. Amazing. Hope that made sense.

I will never not cry 41:34 onwards, what a beautiful representation of gathering strength from chance meetings and taking them with you as you are healing from trauma and/or heartbreak. This is so much more powerful now with the songs back and to back, and yeah, completely moved! Gorgeous work, Jordan Hemingway and crew, and of course, Wolf Alice! You all are amazing!

This is the best music (video) I've seen in a long time! Being 41, I moved from all the grunge, punk and metal, to something which for me at this age is much more satisfying. Thanks to this generation for all this new and amazing music! Wolf Alice, Chvrches, Grimes, Fazerdaze, M83 and so many more newcomers have emerged to give us this delight. It's not necessary that they are better, It's probably just me that had to move on with time and pass the torch to a new generation (my two daughters).

1) This album is an absolute masterpiece 👌 2) Wolf Alice truly understand what is lacking in this generation's music market. 3) If you're watching this as a millennial or an Gen Z then you'll love: PJ Harvey, Cocteau Twins, Cranberries, Kate Bush (not just Running Up That Hill), This Mortal Coil, Siouxsie & the Banchees, NY Dolls, X Ray Specs, basically the alternative/ new wave stuff from the late 70's - 90s. 4) Did anyone else who are older than the generations just mention think all the analogue TV's Karaoke machines, video players looked perfectly normal?! 🤣😬

i love this video album so so much, i keep revisiting this and it makes my love for the music grow over time. the cinematography is beautiful, and the way a film which is 9/10ths visual and no dialogue can add this much meaning to a longform piece of music is truly inspiring. i think so many of us music lovers have spent time imagining films like this in our heads to go along with our favorite songs but completely lack the resources to create them. such an ambitious project for a band and completely transformed the experience of listening to this record in the best way. especially in a world that is trying to destroy our attention spans for film by bombarding us with a slew 8-15 second clips, this project really stands out.
