Ellie is extraordinary. She’s a complete enigma. This quietly spoken, educated, beautiful lady wouldn’t say boo to a goose, then she goes on stage and all hell breaks loose…..amazing!

This is really good. It's good because it's a bit bad - the interviewer asks slightly awkward questions, and Ellie is gloriously un-media-trained, she doesn't just fire back bland prepared responses like a lot of musicians, she actually thinks about the questions and tries to communicate interesting responses. It's almost weirdly uncomfortable to watch, but I feel like it gives the best insight into Ellie (or at least the 2017 Ellie, who seems a lot more introspective and gloomy than a couple of years ago).

Yep un-media trained and so genuine and likeable

I've watched a lot of Wolf Alice interviews and Ellie is usually a little shy. I think being alone compounds that. It's awesome to see this soft spoken girl get up on stage and belt out songs like Yuk Foo and Germ. Such a beautiful and amazing person.

I love how she whispers happiness. Like it will leave her if she says it too loud. I think I can relate to that. perhaps we all can relate.

This interview feels like seeing her live - there is a great sense of anxiousness but then you give it some time and all of a sudden the real character breaks out, wonderful!

I wish they would've talked about Sadboy and how Ellie came up with it. It's such a simple and yet beautiful song and the lyrics are so dynamic. There's a lot of hope and soothing or sorta understanding words in there, but it also seems to hold a lot of rage as there are also parts where she just screams and shouts. I just really fell in love with that song and how the instrumental goes along with it, as it feels just as dynamic as the lyrics do themselves.

I love Ellie, she's so damn cute. And shy, and thoughtful. Everything most modern pop stars are not...

She responds in an unexplainable, emotional way. Just like life. How many of us, can explain the way we feel at many times in our lives?.

Ellie is NOT boring. She is somewhat shy and hasn't yet mastered the art of being interviewed. Give her time. She'll do just fine. 🎶Wolf Alice Rocks!🎶

Interesting and thoughtful. I was really surprised she seems a bit shy (though endearing; such interviews are so personal) after seeing Ellie on their music vids and curious what she was like!

This is very cool it’s raw and real it’s awkward in the way it’s not programmed like a lot of interviews to be like a script reading process this is very unique stuff👍✌️

Such a great interview. She reminds me of Kurt Cobain in her honest, open approach in this interview ... She is pure rock and roll.

Also, there's no reason to feel guilty about happiness. On the contrary, it's a feedback mechanism that you're living up to your potential.

Poor thing. She seems so hesitant to bare her soul in these interviews, looking uncomfortable as she formulates vague, noncommittal answers. But she did open up a tad near the end, and even laughed.

I found the interviewer embarrassing in his sort of jumping from point to point in his effort to uncover something enlightening or personal about Ellie .... she's too good to be involved with this gross banality, she's a gifted artist, must at least be an interesting person....
@hermanessences7 жыл бұрын
As others have mentioned, this interview is quite brilliant and charming in a great way. It's two people who "can't do it properly", but they do it anyway, and the conversation is a lot more meaningful than what you typically hear in more professional-sounding interviews. Very real. She's quite charming, and I love her music, although she sadly seems to fit into the all too common archetype of good artists who are leftists and apologetic towards islamists. (Judging by what I've read. Well, now I sound like "a stalker who stalks", lol)
@ight38174 жыл бұрын
So you have a problem with her political views and how she treats ethnic people like regular human beings? You pretty much said "sucks she's not a racist like me!" How disgusting. We don't need more ignorant dumbasses who dislike certain groups of people just because they aren't american or white. Most ridiculous and foolish thing to be prejudice over. Also you definitely have the stalker look, so that's not surprising you looked up her up.

akward, dumb question from interview and hes very womanly n cuk, then she doesnt take charge of the situation wich is also very cuk and she deflates at the end, not good
