Волки когда им предлагают еду не набросятся на людей, они ВСЕГДА выбирают путь наименьшего сопротивления, то есть если есть уже готовая еда, то зачем напрягаться и пытаться на кого-то там ещё нападать? Так что они в безопасности эти люди. Да и волки только зимой могут представлять опасность для человека. Летом у них корма достаточно и они на человека не нападают.

They can smell food, people, whatever for at least a mile off. They smelled these people and whatever food she had. As the two or so curious about the food are cautiously approaching them face on, the others are quietly circling around behind. All seems calm enough until they all begin to attack, if they wanted to. But they're confused by the humans. Not the usual critters wolves go after. And I've observed that even wolves defer to humans. So the two were probably safe. BUT, here's some good advice. Don't go walking around in wolf country with a PORK CHOP in your hand!!
