This is definitely my favorite battle theme in the game. I especially liked when it played in the courtroom battle (dream) sequence. I was just like "Welp. This is happening..."

Well here's an answer. During the second World war, BJ attempted to kill Wilhelm Strasse (deathshead) if he suceeded, he would've turned the tides of the War but, deathshead ended up trapping BJ and forcing him to kill one of his Friends, deathshead then used incinerators to explode the Room where he was trapped, BJ then recieved a shrapnel to the head and he spent 14 years in a comma, just long enough to let the nazis win.

@@MilanVoorhees too late for telling me to shut up buddy, I replayed this game a lot for the mein lab archievement some time ago and now I see how wrong I was, the story was so good at the first half of the game but then the it went downhill after B.J's execution, the rest is decent at best, but could be better. so yeah, i'll give the "best story written game" title to New Order instead of this. telling people to be silent because you can't stand different opinions, reddit users in a nutshell.
