I always forget how ridiculous the German censorship can be sometimes. Literally removing "Nazis" from the game entirely and replacing them with "The Regime." They even removed every trace of the swastika! Amazing trailer otherwise though.

Its not the government that censor games. Responsible for that is the game developer. Games were kinda not really considered art in germany. No one bothered to find out. So no swastikas. The rest is because the developer wanted it that way. But in the meantime things changed. Games are now art. No censoring anymore. Just like in movies. The full package of nazi symbols.

Ich wünschte man könnte die German Edition auf Steam auch auf Englisch spielen. Die Betonungen der deutschen Wörter zaubern mir immer wieder ein Lächeln ins Gesicht :D

Ich glaube, das kannst du. Rechtsklick auf dem Spiel > Eigenschaften > Sprache und dann lade die englische Version herunter, sodass alles unzensiert bleibt. Spiele, die etwas mit dem zweiten Weltkrieg zu tun haben, spiele ich immer auf englisch, da es mehr authentisch anfühlt. Die Deutschen sprechen also Deutsch, die Amerikaner und Briten Englisch usw. Oder in diesem Fall, deutsch mit einem lustigen Akzent.

In all seriousness, as good as this game looks, in real life even if Germany won the second world war and dominated the globe it would eventually just fall to pieces. An empire that large would never last for more than, say, a couple of decades. Sure, life today would be very, very different, but the Nazi's would not be in power. And if they were, they're empire would mostly be in Europe, which is still rather impressive.

Damals in den 90ern kam das erste Spiel von denen raus, da hieß es noch Wolfenstein 3D. Mein Kumpel hatte das auf dem Rechner, das ging noch mit Floppydisc. Leider hat man in dem Spiel auf die falschen schießen müssen. Bestimmt ein Programmierfehler. 🤭😉🙋🏻‍♂️⚫⚪🔴
