A grenade has a lethal range of roughly 40 feet, so even if he wanted to live there was no way it was going to happen, the pin was out and the spoon has a spring that throws it off once the pins off so if he knocked it out of deathsheads hand it would have gone off.

I saved Fergus the first run, but then i felt like shit when he chewed Blazkowicz out for letting Wyatt die, and after I beat it, and played thru the Wyatt timeline, and got to that similar scene, Blazkowicz still gets chewed out but for letting Fergus die instead... I guess it goes to show that you don't win either way.

It was a whole lot sadder when Wyatt died. His cutscene was so freaking bad, all the agonizing screams, the creepy look to his face being eyeless, etc. Then later one his scene in the robot was sad too, his character had such a more innocent vibe to him. I'm a sadistic fuck sometimes, but dang, for once something actually got to me. Good job on them. This game was awesome. I was a bit disappointed in the Wyatt timeline though, everythings nearly identical, just a few changed words really. I was hoping for some actual changes in the plot and perhaps even the ending.

I totally agree. On my first playthrough I chose to save Fergus, just because I liked him better, he seemed like more of a character. They really did do a great job on the story, but I wish the two timelines were a little more unique like you said. It would have been amazing to have two completely different stories to play through. None the less, it gave me a reason to play it twice... And damn, the end got to me both times. I truly hope they release another Wolfenstein, and hopefully with Blazkowicz as the protagonist. (You can hear a helicopter approaching after the credits roll, possibly implying Blazko is rescued.)

Hate this ending. Not because if BJ is seemingly dying or not, but because of Deathshead. He's one of the most evil and cruel characters ever, having killed and tortures people way longer than an average lifetime. He's so old he can easily die by natural courses anytime. Came here partly because some moron at MachineGames decided to make the skip movie button the same as the exil level trigger on Xbox One,(Accidentally skipped J's death because of it) well that and I was so pissed off at the ending that I couldn't be bothered watching the credits to see if anything happened after them. Fuck, what a seriously overrated game this is, anyone who says it's an "old school" shooter clearly never played many old school FPS', for one thing, I don't ever remember having to press a button to pick up ammo and health in Doom or Quake, seriously who thought that was a good idea, so annoying during fights. My opinion is nothing to do with difficulty either, didn't even die that many times during my first (and only) playthrough. All capped off with an utter shitstorm of an ending, really pisses me off in games when the character you've spent hours trying to keep alive dies (I'll assume he dies here), that type of thing is fine for movies, but not video games IMO.

Wyatt was really fresh and young. To him, he probably still couldn't grasp that death was coming or accepted death as a possibility always there like Fergus did. Considering the world he would have to live in afterwards, I'm not sure life is that much better than death. He wasn't ready for combat. Then again, who is?

I hate that after all that you go through, you have to leave killing Deathhead to the damned cutscene. I just wanted to shoot him in the face and have it be over - I don't care about torturing him - especially after what happened with that stupid old woman that just wouldn't die. Oh, and the difficulty spike on the final boss was a bit harsh, which made me want to finish him off fast even more when I finally beat him. Great game, but the ending left a bitter taste... not as bad as BulletStorm though - that really was the worst ending ever.

There is a character that you hate from the moment the game opens and you hate him more and more as it progresses. At the end you reach him, stick a knife in him and pin him against a wall. Then a cutscene begins with your character talking to another whilst the bad guy is laying there in the background somewhere and still kind of alive. You just know he's going to escape and he does, and also completely screws you during his escape. They were setting up for a sequel, but it wasn't a big enough seller, so there never was a sequel. Anyway, it just leaves you with blue balls. The game was actually pretty fun, but if that sequel ever comes, I won't be buying it.

I hate how in the ending scene deathheads machine rips out your friends brain infront of you and THEN! He Has the balls to tell bj that all he does is peddle death and destruction while he is storing your friends blood covered brain in a shiny canister. I wish there was an ALTERNATE ending if you got every collectible and upgrade that had bj climb Up the robot straight away after beating deathhead and blows a hole straight in the middle of deathheads head with a shotgun and then says 'karma's a bitch, aint it?' Before getting in a chopper and flying away while the bomb góes off behind them and it cuts to bj and anya having a family with 2 kids. ✋😎👌10/10 just right-IGN

Yes, game almost doesn't change on your choice. Major differnece between them two is that if you choose Wyatt timeline you get lockpicking and armor upgrades / Fergus you get "cable connecting" and health upgrades. That changes gameplay by a little but doesn't affect story.

(Rage) after tweaking it and editing some files for a few days, I got it to run flawlessly. Pretty good game! So what did I do? BJ had only three seconds to escape the live grenade. Let go of Totenkopf, and attempt to dove away. Even if he DID doce just a foot or two away, he'd still.be damaged heavily, since he "technically" (visual model) isn't wearing armor.

I love Wolfenstein (ever since beating RTCW as a 12 yo), but it takes no more than 10 minutes for me to feel genuinely sick when playing some of the levels in WTNO with all the biomechatronic stuff. (As a science/engineering nerd it's impossible for me to just run through the labs without curiously studying the contents.) In RTCW you only got like 2-3 levels of biomechatronics, the rest of the game was mostly all cozy occult mansions with nice fireplaces, and cabins with hot meals.

Alica Ljungberg One of the best things about RTCW is that it varies the surroundings. The castle, the village streets, the crypt, the ruins, the science labs, the military base, the damb, the castle again (though a different part of it), etc. Yes, WTNO is kinda varied too, but it's not that memorable and everything is filled with that 'biomechatronic' stuff you mentioned. So everything becomes kinda blended and doesn't have it's own shine. Just my opinion, though.

pootis heavy pootis Perhaps the DLC could be that guy you save from the POW camp (I cant remember his name for the life of me, the old one with circle glasses?) creates some sort of machine that goes back in time and saves him before the explosion (Little far fetched) or maybe Fergus could not fire the rocket and instead go back for him, I havent played the wyatt timeline yet so i dont know if he could do the same (no spoilers please).
