Anyone thinking of playing just the second game should really play the first one. It really is a great game with lots of wtf and just wow moments man. Its brutal fast paced nazi killin action with a great story and really will help build a back story and get you to care for any of the preestablished characters. The DlC stand alone title the old blood is optional as its just a prequel and kind of a shout out the early 2000's game return to castle wolfenstein. Which to be honest I would recomend you play if you have a pc is $5 on steam. Doesnt effect the story but is still a very good game.
