Yeah I was going to say didn't they have to rescue his head? Or excuse me him.. yes that's him still.. having a Nazi super soldier body, that's that's not going to come back to haunt him at all.. with his Nazi hands and is Nazi heart and is Nazi lungs and is Nazi dick.. none of those would be possessed or inclined to yes, him they rescued him... I suppose the question is when they went to rescue him was that all they brought back... or does any of this seem a little weird to you.. a little strange The narrative twist they took, a little strange the gameplay format changes they took.. a little fucking strange the '80s still happened despite the complete change of history... Did they did BJ even come back at all?

I hate this game, yes- gunplay is still good but they destroyed combat as a whole. They thought making bullet sponges of enemies makes the game fun or whatever- no, they absolutely butchered flow of Wolfenstein franchise. It's supposed to be fast and satisfying- not generic (we have many looter shooters with bullet sponge mechanics). It's just shitty uninspired piece of crap made for quick buck.

@@unrealcreation9 That's how Wolfenstein 2 works also. Armor chips off and leaves them vulnerable. In Wolfenstein 2, a single headshot with the rifle modification for the AR could kill a super soldier after you knock their helmet off. Problem with Youngblood is that each armor piece isn't vulnerable until the dumb white armor boxes are destroyed

Im really enjoying it im not sure why its getting panned so much the biggest downsides are lack of pause (although I have it on switch so just turning it off pauses it....) and lack of checkpoints

Nick, this is genuinely the best review for this game I've seen. I'm a big fan of this reboot series and I found this game a disappointment, but not outright garbage like some are saying. You had raised some good points, give legitimate critiques and didn't just outright dunk on the game. These are the kind of reviews we need on KZbin. Keep up the good work.

It's amazing feeling of helplessness and isolation can't be replaced- at least as of now no game did what first two Dead Space games did. They dropped horror roots of series and went for CO-OP action game no one asked for- especially one made at cost of such a unique horror experiences.

@@dorminbased They all felt the same to me. And I certainly never felt "Helpless or isolated" considering they throw ammo at you nonstop and never let-up what are supposed to be "jump scares." The game is more of an action horror game, and Dead Space 3 (outside of those stupid firefights with human enemies) follows practically the same design philosophy as the first 2. Coop doesn't make sense, I'll give you that, but it can also just be played entirely solo, and feels the same to me.

You mentioned pretty much everything that I thought about the game except for one thing. The respawning when returning to an area. For example in Paris, I have an objective and I kill everyone. I go into a building to get what I needed. When I walk out, everyone that I killed respawned in the exact same place. It was like doing double duty. It would have been different if I actually went from one area of the map to another. This was literally walking into a building and walking back out. I personally think that this was a step back in the series. The protagonists were annoying and I did nto care of the characters as much as the previous instalments. Having said that, keep up the great work!! love your videos.

definitely i enjoyed my time with it but I'm not gonna go back and play it again for obvious reasons like doesn't pause or unrealistic hard game play, i mean you can shoot a guy in head for seconds and still no headshot

This is the most honest review of a game i've ever seen. I don't like it when reviewers just say negative things about a game unlesss if it deserves it. An example of this is Fortnite. Also Fortnite is a positive game, that is the game that deserves a COMPLETELY negative review. Like for example how Epic have designed the game as a manipulative trap for Children by making it free 2 play and making the characters too *sexually attractive* other than that, this review is very good and other reviewers better step it up because their reviews make me puke.

Honestly I find this game to be underrated. I mean, it is not even close to The New Order, the game isn't a "masterpiece" but it is a fun co-op experience. Yes, it has it's flaws but no game doesn't. I think we should judge Wolfenstein Youngblood for what it is, not for what it isn't. A small Dlc-like game focusing on co-op rather than story.

I didn't play the game but i saw some reviews... They said there are no checkpoints... Also the protagonist are annoying.... Shouting everytime they kill someone...also if you play solo then the ai is dumb as hell...ai pathfinding is bad...sometime they get lost while you are downed...several times they enemy or ai teammate gets stuck....did those review lie??i don't know any of those points.. As i said i didn't play the game...but i am kinda surprised by the review

There are checkpoints. If you use all 3 lives, you reload from a checkpoint. Your ammo is NOT replenished though, as I clearly stated. Protagonists are annoying, as I said, but they do not yell out everytime you kill someone, that's false. AI is fine. She stands out in the open sometimes like an idiot, but I only had to revive her 3 times throughout the entire game. I never had them get lost, they always revived me. In fact, if they DO get stuck, they teleport after a few seconds to revive you.

Game looks like solid fun. It's a budget priced game so it obviously wasn't made to set the world on fire, but with the buddy pass system this looks like a good deal. It's pretty obvious that a lot of the criticism for this game comes from _particular kinds of people_ that don't like the game starring girls that aren't fanservice, and the game being about killing the kinds of people they idealize. The only major worries I have are the upgrade system (because it looks like it could kill the pacing if too much focus is put on it) and ammunition not being refilled when you die. This game was only somewhat on my radar but I'm definitely more interested after watching this. Thanks for the informative review. Great video!

The game is garbage. Yes, levels looks good, but the amount of times you have to go through them is insane, and enemies are always in the same spots - after less then 4 hours of playing I was sick of some areas. Missions are boring as hell, stealth is nonexistent since it's a coop and most of the sections can't be completed without shooting plus you need wall-breaking ability to reach secrets and you need invisibly for nothing. Underground levels are trash and fucking silent explosive dogs is one of the stupidest ideas I've seen. Refunded the game after 4 hours, stream approved my refund thankfully Would be much better to add coop in Doom then in Wolfenstein. It doesn't need a good story and it doesn't need stealth

Nah, not sold on this game at all. Wolfenstein reboot has always had a great, immersive story because of the linear story telling. I see none in this. It seems just a cheap cash grab, pushing coop to sell the game. The characters are unlikeable and the missions seem repetitive...Yes the map is nice but it lacks the diversity to constitute a whole game. In new collossus you landed on venus! No i dont expect that in this game but i can see it getting very boring. I would have accepted it as a dlc. Of course though i do respect your opinion :)

I took it as a standalone DLC - kinda like "Wolfenstein the Old Blood." My guess is Wolfenstein 3 will be shown off at next years E3 and will be on id tech 7, so the core team is focusing mostly on that. Arkane seems to have taken the lead on this specific project, having created all of the open world districts for the game. Knowing that, the game seems fairly priced for what it is. Now Cyberpilot on the otherhand... that looks like a complete waste of a great idea.

I just want large levels, nazi killing action, and the fast paced shooter action of DOOM all mixed together.. ...also more oldschool castles. Ending the series with BJ killing HItler in Castle Wolfenstein would be awesome

I really like this game! Also, enemies in in the other 3 titles are way spongier at times. The RPG mechanics are simply there to gate off content, but every enemy that is your levl dies really fast. Sadly, way too many idiots follow these overacting KZbinrs.

I didn't say it was amazing either. There's a number of problems that I very clearly detailed, including a weaker story, bad character designs, an unnecessary weapon efficiency system, and a few bugs. For the price - it's fine,. and it's a fun game in its own right.. but it's certainly not going to win any awards.
