Sir like firstly we have 2 oH groups on same carbon we eliminated h20 but after that when 2 0H again came on same hydrogen we just eliminated h+ ion....why so

Acid base reactions are always preferred if there is acidic H reagent will behave as base....it will behave as a nucelophile when there is no steric hinderance and no acidic H too
