I was protesting at the university of Connecticut when our encampment was swept. 25 students were arrested, many of whom were also Jewish. Our protest was entirely peaceful.

Amen By it's disgusting abuse of the memory of the holocaust, and their constant dishonest conflation of antisemitism with anti Zionism, they are actually fuelling genuine antisemitism. They are creating the perfect conditions to drive antisemitism because people looking on at Israel's crimes are being invited by the Israel government to assign those crimes, not to the Israeli state but to Jews - because apparently the two are equivalent. Prof. Wolff, as always a voice of reason, and well thought out analysis. Biden's speech was possibly the most horrifying thing I've heard from a politician in my 44 years. The co-opting of opposition to Antisemitism as a defense for what is being done in Gaza is just awful to see. My understanding of "Never Again", is never again for the Jewish people, and never again for anyone else. All of the hate is just so pointless. No Arab is my enemy, nor is any Jew, or anyone else for that matter. Until we all stand together as one people, for each other, we'll never reach our true potential.

one of the biggest problems i have when discussing communism with people that are not proper comrades is that they keep comparing basic quality of life metrics of places like east-west germany, north-south korea, or taiwan vs china. the problem is that anyone with phone can quickly look things up that directly refute the one true philosophy as taught by karl marx. how do we conceal these differential outcomes from the masses long enough achieve power over them?
