I think Mozart was so talented of how he chose his sopranos for certain arias. Particularly this one the KV 165. Stefanie Steger took it so beautifully and had that range, Mozart would have been fulfilling, satisfying, heartwarming and happy to this day. This probably would mean a LOT to him. Well Done! Stefanie and Herr Mozart.

I started going to classical musical concerts at about the age of 8. I was already attending sung High Mass on Sunday and looking forward to being 10 and able to audition for the church choir. None of my friends were in the least bit interested and I was the only Catholic in the street and went to a different school. I first heard the Allelluia in the late 1960s sung by Shirley Verrett when she came to Edinburgh. I think it was for the Edinburgh Festival and she sang it as an encore. I was so moved that I wept... This is beautiful. 🙋😍

4:14 This soprano has an INCREDIBLE voice. She needs to sign a contract with Deutsche Grammophon and Decca Records. She sounds so crisp and clear that it would rock the house down through the subwoofers.

Sehr schön vorgetragen. Kannte die junge Dame noch nicht bzw. habe ich sie heute zufällig von KZbin vorgeschlagen bekommen. Die Stimme paßt sehr gut zu Mozarts Exsultate. Wünsche viel Erfolg für die Zukunft! Auch das Orchester mit dem Dirigenten gelobt werden. Tolle Akustik in der Kirche! 😊😊😊

Mozart yes would surely love her voice but he would be mortified at the invasion of the sanctuary...very sad.
