This is so fucking cool, man. If someone told me i'd hear Jesse Leach pull off epic clean vocals in a Wolfheart chorus, i wouldn't believe that in a thousand years. I'm really interested in how this collaboration came to be. Just so unexpected, and so damn good. Makes me a bit sad though that if i ever hear this song live, it's going to miss something without Jesse. I guess that's the downside of epic collaborations like this.

I've been following yall for a while and not in a million years would i expect to hear you with Jesse, I grew up with Killswitch since they began and this was perfection. This song should be at the top chart (at least metal chart) for the year 2022. Does anyone realize how deep the meaning of this song is? From what I gather, it's difficult to explain in words, but it's more about the feeling. Ancestor eternal - there is no us without our ancestors. A beast without a name - for me it's like I don't know my ancestor's name, but for sure he was a beast in a way that he (or they - as ancestors) often fought and because of people like our ancestors, primitive, uneducated, downright cavemen-like behavior and thinking - none of us and i do mean none of us - we wouldn't have existed if it wasn't for them. Even further back before before the rise of early civilizations and tribes in Europe, there was like 7000 people in the whole world 10.000BC. They were freaking fearless, and ruthless creature(s) just like Wolfheart describes them and as such, their persistence and will for survival created us, the modern civilization. I mean how fucking deep is that. They hunted animals, lived in caves, had only fire and fur to warm them, it was the end of Ice Age so it was freaking cold in most parts of the world. Imagine living like that, those harsh conditions. Imagine living a single day like that from the comfort of your warm room, your radiator heating, comfy sofa and a blanket. This song is about the existence of human civilization as we know it. And we have our Ancestor(s) to thank. They were beasts without names, forefathers of men. How freaking deep is that meaning. And Jesse Leach really gives that extra punch with his vocal style.

There's a lot of variables that you're missing and you might be glorifying ancestors too much. In my case, my ancestors from all over Europe, came and desecrated indigenous life in South America, and "thanks to that" my country exists (Uruguay). Nothing pretty about what they did! haha.
