One of the best, underrated metal bands I’ve heard in the past 5-6 years. I love the atmospheric, heavy, folksy melodic wall of sound they create. Love me some Wolfheart I just wish the U.S. would pick up on what’s going on with bands like this, Insomnium, Wintersun, etc.

I totally agree, Wolfheart is easily one of the best metal bands out there and Tuomas Saukkonen is becoming a legend. You also named two of my favourite bands (Insomnium and Wintersun) that truly deserve more recognition. I must add Dark Tranquility (though not Finnish) to that list too.

When I first saw this video my brother had just died he was a musician and we both love music like this i thought that Tomasz was my brother i was tripping because you look so much like him or vise versa . The way you stand the back of your head even your arms, i was so sad, and i listening to this song. My brother loved wolfs, but i knew that he was with me in his spirit. He was right there the whole time he took his own life, and it's been so hard, but it was harder for him to be here on earth with us. Yes, a totally underrated band from Finnland. I bought all CDs and vinyls of WOLFHEART. It started roughly 15 years ago, when my youngest son recommeded me BEFORE THE DAWN (BTD), the former band of TUOMAS SAUKKONEN. I heard the songs, and I became addicted to the band and bought all albums. Amazing Melodic Death Metal with ear catching songs with a hookline. As far as I know, BTD released 6 full length albums. Also BLACK SUN AEON and DAWN OF SOLACE are band projects in a similar style, which I highly recommend.

There's just so many layers to their sound. It's incredible. Melodic, folk, death, black. There's an atmospheric ethereal sound, but has heavy punch. Thought provoking lyrics...these guys have got their shit together.

I've been listening to metal for 20 years and honestly I just have to say... this is one of the greatest metal songs of all time. I hope Wolfheart gets bigger, because they truly deserve it and more metalheads need to hear this genius. They have 4 masterpieces in their discography, but also after seeing them live recently I can say are one of the best live metal acts out there right now. Thank you Wolfheart

You are right. This song is undoubtedly one of the best metal songs ever written and doubtless the most epic metal song ever released. I am a fanatic metal fan since my childhood, since 1986. I wish, they could have spend it the video clip it deserves, with a similar atmosphere as the Breakwater clip.

I can think of no better departure from life as my sun sets. Funeral music as the end chapter of life to be celebrated...a reflection of the journey truly.

Does anyone know what he's referencing with these lyrics? To me it's either a nuclear holocaust or comet strike. Tuomas is very smart. These are the only 2 kinds of light that could make day and night cease to exist and 2 types of cataclysmic destruction that could create a "Pyre" and end all life.

These songs don't feel half as long as they actually are. It felt like there was only a minute gone at one stage and because I adjusted my phone the time came up on screen and it was past the 4 minute mark. You get so captivated by the song that you lose track of time.

She's good at suicide a love for me and his niece my daughter I know this sounds strange she deserves Purple Heart play Risk his own life to save mine and my daughters and I know it's standing beside me every day and I can feel him. My brother died on the 7th of August well on the 7th at midnight my ex-husband I'm his friend jumped into my house they said they saw a black wolf with blue eyes come with them the next day my brother was dead . I do believe that black wolf with blue eyes is my brother's animal spirit he was warning them .
