Blaze's band played this a couple of nights ago in athens. Crazy thrashy tune. Awsome. Thanks blaze for bringing back wolfsbane memories

Blaze gets a lot of shit for his time in Maiden. Hopefully he'll be remembered for those great Wolfsbane records.

Anyone would have got the same treatment filling in for Bruce, he got a hard time but let's not forget the 2 shit albums Bruce made with Maiden before he left. To be fair I think it has made Blaze a much better song writer and he's a lovely chap.

Since Bruce came back, only The Wicker Man got above the material that they made with Blaze.

Except this happened before his time with Maiden. It's almost like the other way around, he was this good and Harris saw it. His solo career has a lot of his Maiden experience though. Too bad Wolfsbane got caught in that Metal decline in the 90s just when they had support of big bands like Helloween. They deserved Iron Maiden levels of recognition, but...

Fuckin Blaze is an Awesome singer!! As High as Bruce has Maiden......There is no way ANY Singer can come into Maiden and Command Any Respect or Honor. Loved Blaze with Maiden and his Solo jams.

Wolfsbane managed something Maiden didn’t especially after they fired Clive Burr, legend, they managed to appeal to punks and the metalheads.

@HighInTheHead funny, because elsewhere I just saw Wolfsbane described as a 'kind of like a thrash Van Halen'. I can kinda see why too (and it's not a bad thing at all!) =P

@StainedClass88 Totall agree with you there mate,Blaze was and is still a great vocalist,If anyybody should take the brunt of the shit for the Maiden crap it should be Bruce Dickinson for abandoning his post in the first place,I still remember seen Wolfsbane live back in 1990 at the Victoria Hall in Stoke on Trent when they were supporting Maiden on the No Prayer Tour and Blaze totally stole the show with his performance!

Me neither until I listened to the old Wolfsbane stuff. Unfortunately I think Blaze must have damaged his voice doing those screams, understandable enough since he was a very young singer and hadn't had time to refine technique- a real shame though because they'd have been great if he could have pulled them off in his Iron Maiden days.
@Celatra2 жыл бұрын
@@nyecrozier8663 the screams sound fine. straining your voice should not cause damage so bad that you'd loose all of it. there must have been something else at play: smoking,drinking, an accident, some physical condition that wore on his vocal folds, something,
@Doobie19756 жыл бұрын
I personally thought Blaze Bayley was much better in Wolfsbane than he was in Iron Maiden, I prefer him singing the uptempo heavy metal stuff over the heavy metal epic tunes.
@LordKalakukko12 жыл бұрын
@StainedClass88 The Maiden records with Blaze had the potential to be great. The reason they weren´t was due to weak songwriting on a lot of songs. Blaze's vocals rocked on those albums!
