Just got one of these at a thrift store in town. Pretty much mint. Now to get film. Came with a leather bag with a marine's name and military number on it.

I own a Wollensak model 43. My Conversion Filter Type A tab is in the up position stuck in the viewfinder. How do I fix that. All the buttons seem to work, but doesn't remove the "A" tab from the viewfinder?

I just got one of these today and there's an "A" at the bottom of the viewfinder. Can you tell me what that is?

Hey! This video was super helpful. Stupid question because I’m very new at this- how long should i wind the film for before starting to film? How do i know when to stop? Thanks in advance.

Wind gently until you can't wind anymore or til you start to feel the springs get tight. Each wind will give you about 30 sec of shooting. - Mike
