I ended up doing mine as painlessly as possible. I used the black adapter (thanks for showing how that went on), put on some dielectric grease and badda bing badda boom, it's on using the same wires as the stock horn used. I don't see me using the horn for long enough periods to cause any harm. I figure the worse thing that can happen is maybe I'll blow the fuse for the stock horn if there's even one there. Careless? Maybe, but it's how the thing is advertised to be installed.

Hey thanks for posting.. but more close up step by step details would be helpful since you did title it Installation. For example how you wired in the relay. Did you use a relay? How it was actually mounted on. Instead of stationary camera, use up close.

why did you have to re-wire it? I thought the wolo just used the same wires as the original horn?

What Kuryakyn has done here is contacted an Asian manufacturer and custom plated an otherwise $25 air horn. You can find these in exactly the same format but not chromed on the internet. And, they are cheap. High quality Harley specific air horns that fit well, look good, and are of superior quality are almost non-existent. Now, I hope someone with a good entrepreneurial spirit is listening.....

For example I put the wiring harness in wiring loom to protect it from the heat of the engine. Some people might not agree with this method. The cover you are referring to is a new option and we found it for a cost of $39.99. If we find it cheaper we will let you know. Thanks again for your comments. Willy

i put this horn on my bike only lasted one year before fake chrome plastic outer housing started rattling all the time i tried to silence the rattling noise by wrapping zip ties around it ,, and now its not even a 1/3 as loud as it was when new,,the reeds inside horn are also plastic and get brittle and break...im done with WoLo crap horns !! im looking for a true 1950s car horn to replace it with

I agree about the wires on the bottom and I personally don't like the way it looks. I found this cover that comes with some kits. Trying to find this cover cheap somewhere. Google "Kuryakyn Super Deluxe Cover for Wolo Bad Boy Horn" $35,99 ;-(

Thank you for your comments. To answer some of your questions the Kuryakyn Wolo Bad Boy Horn kit comes with a relay. I did install the relay using heavy duty velcro. I did not get into detail about how to run the wiring kit for liability purposes. With all the different makes and models and years of the same models that the horn can be used on there are no specific way to route the wires. I did mention in my video that the routing of the wires would be a preference thing for the installer.

Not a vert good installation video, usually those type of videos actually show the actual installation process, he just talks about what he did.
