@@woltersworld Have you tried any of the local brews. Titanic Belfast is a tremendous building. There is a heritage railway in County Down, The Rail Preservation Society of Ireland is in Whitehead and there is an Ulster transport museum. One of those tours uses an ex battle ship grey RUC armoured Land Rover.

The best thing about public transport in NI is that is completely integrated. When I took the train from Belfast to Derry the cashier gave me a daily pass for the whole of NI instead of a simple ticket and that meant that I could use every bus and train in NI for the rest of the day. So when we arrived in Derry I saw what I wanted to see in three hours and since it was only 1 PM I told to myself that I should go to the Giant's Causeway since I've never seen that. So I took the train back to Belfast, hopped on a bus at Coleraine that led me to Giant's Causeway, with a single ticket. That was quite amazing.

Titanic building was good, Ulster folk museum was a surprise that we all enjoyed especially about all the industrial history of Northern ireland the entrepreneurs, ship building, architects etc didn’t know about all that, for such a small place is super cool. I have been to the UK and Ireland a few times. If you are at 3 times just visiting London, you definitely need to see the English countryside, Scotland and Ireland. If I had a choice between Edinburgh and London, I would always pick Edinburgh. Scotland is beautiful. Belfast is great but I went when they just got done filming Game of Thrones there, and the tours were incredible. Dublin is good but you also need to get out to Killarney, Galway and see the sights. Also the is so much to see outside of London, like Bath, Bristol, Liverpool, etc. Even if you are comfortable with London, use it like a hub. Between the train system, and the short commuter flights, you can bounce all around the UK and Ireland. Trust me, You will thank me later.

Fantastic video as usual! I live a short distance from Belfast and I love it, it's a city with a local vibe. One thing I feel wasn't brought up was "don't mention religion or politics", to some its a very sore point, but it's easily avoided. 2 hours on a bus takes you to Derry, another lovely small city to visit. Even better, take the train and enjoy the beautiful North coast.

It's worth pointing out that the northern Northern Ireland coastline and countryside is absolutely beautiful - there's some stunning scenery and coastal views that are absolutely beautiful with a lick of sunshine. Tourists just want to get to the crowded and small Giants Causeway area, and a couple of other spots - they're missing out, as the coastal drive has a Lot of other spots to take in, with some of the prettiest countryside found on the whole island if you drive westward over towards Derry/Londonderry and then cross the Border towards nearby Letterkenny in the Republic...

Firstly what a great positive video thank you so much it means a lot when someone takes the time to study and inform people about travel . But Don't trust the taxi tour's take on history of the troubles no matter what side . Better off reading history books before coming to Belfast or Northern Ireland. And yes I'm Belfast born and bred. Thanks again for the positive video of my city .

First video I've watched of yours, with Belfast being my hometown. Great video, thank you!. I had to send this on to my friend, who just got a fine for driving in the bus lane last week..lol. I would agree that as a native, the Crown bar is a place we never go for a pint, but my friends from out of town do love going there. If you are a real lover of guinness, I recommend Bittles Bar or Maddens. Maddens is also great for some traditional irish music

Went there in 2019 and really enjoyed it, even over Dublin. The people are super friendly, too. Now I see I'll have to go back, because we didn't have enough time for all the places your mentioned. Did do some museums, gardens, city bus tour with an awesome guide and St. George's Market, which was great and the Titanic Museum with the tram tour and it was fasinating. Thanks for the video.

Great video. My grandpa's hometown. I actually lived there for a year in the early 1990s. Not then yet a tourist hotspot but great nonetheless. Brilliant people, great craic and (ahem) better Guinness than Dublin. For a city of that size it has great restaurants, clubs and pubs. Laverys, The Pavilion, Kelly's Cellars amongst other were great fun. Great video. Greetings from Toronto Canada. Thank you.

Pretty short, comprehensive, fair, roundup about the town we love so well....Belfast. Well done WW! If you want to see the Titanic story of 'Jack and Rose', as you said, you will not find it at the Titanic Exhibition. It is however at another local, Titanic museum/Exhibition, at the marvellous, lesser known, Ulster Folk and Transport Museum, 6 miles along the coast at Cultra, on the road to Bangor. I thoroughly recommend St George's Market but NOT the Belfast, ( Continental ), Christmas market, at the city Hall. This Continental market is full of over priced, foreign tat. It is a travelling show, replica, found in so many other European city markets. There is little local authenticity about it. The food sold in the Continental market can be sourced outside the market in local Belfast food outlets, at a fraction of the price. Profits from the Continental Market disappear out of Belfast to Europe. Otherwise, a good report given, WW. Best wishes from the Belfast Castlereagh hills of Northern Ireland.

Yes it's there WW. The Ulster Folk and Transport Museum along with HMS Caroline and the Ulster American Folk Park, is one of the best sets of museums here. Yet everyone flocks to Titanic and Titanic gets all the promotion. Sorry although Titanic is good narrating the history of Belfast ship building it is well down my list. Thanks for getting back to me WW. You are one busy guy. Best wishes from the Belfast Castlereagh hills.

Another good "don't" especially if traveling off season for Christmas. Don't expect the variety of lovely B&B type accommodations to be open. You may be more apt to stay in a hotel or guest house because of seasonal closures in the B&B world. 👍
