The story beats to this one, beginning to end, were anticipated and familiar. In a good way, like comfort food. Other than the duplicate Apocalypse being a robot. Even though that double did seem initially a bit theatrical, enthusiastic...even a bit too cheerful, on that first page in which he reveals himself to Wolvie? But that could just as easily have been reflected by the personality of the actual Apocalypse. Nonetheless, this is good to see this particular writer and particular artist on such a book, and together no less. I guess when seeing Simonson's name on the cover, despite being next to Mignola's I'd still thought Walt would be drawing this. If Logan's not off on personal alone time in the Canadian wilds, then it's gotta be the Savage Land. Even though it's a bit of a hike, without the Aussie aborigine mutant teleporter Gateway. This also recalls the Wolverine: Bloodlust graphic novel that you recently reviewed. Okay, this is a long enough comment from me. A fine edition to the Wolverine solo series library. I thank you once more for another vid, Marinus, hope your week has been well and your upcoming weekend will be even better.

This is classic story telling (altough i wish it was the real Apocalypse). Right. he was a little bit tooo happy for my taste, like a bad movie villain 😅. "Ha-haa, sir Logan. I have captured you easily. The cunning mind of Apocalypse is unmatched!!! Muahahahah". Fun combo, i might add😃. It was the main reason i picked up this book, so i knew it was gonna get good. yeah seeing him using a mini plane to get to savage land was fun, isntead of mutant Mcguffin. YES!!! that was a fun one too :). You're welcome, Mike. Hope you enjoy your day. I see you on the next video!!
