8:17 Beautiful throw.

I've always thought a run pass qb was better than just a passing qb because it means that it stresses the defense out more, and in late game situations it adds more options. Does Robinson throw for a first, hand off for a first, or run himself for a first.

0:28 = Michigan ball on the 20 yard line.

I think we need Denard Robinson to kick FG's as well. Couldn't be worse than what we got at the moment, lol.

If that play gets reviewed and they overturn the TD, what exactly is the outcome of the play? Who gets the ball, and where?

Classic game. "Vegeta, what does the scouter say about Denard Robinson's yard total?" "IT'S OVER FIVE HUNDREEEEEEEEEEEED!" "WHAT, FIVE HUNDRED?!" That second Notre Dame touchdown was obviously out. Wish the refs saved me some stress. By the way, Robinson for Heisman '10!

Haha! Look at our band around the 4:33 on the incomplete pass that was intended for Roundtree. Go Blue!

@dwm1812 And what bad calls in AA are you referring to? The TD getting called back on the screen pass? He stepped out of bounds. The time getting run off the clock on that last kickoff? The ND player touched the ball. ND not being able to get that timeout at the end of the game even though it looked like there was still time on the clock? You do realize that how much time is on the clock we see isn't always matched up right with the time the official's are keeping, right?

@dwm1812 The difference between those two big ND TD passes and the Michigan one's you're referring to are this; Michigan had a guy in position to make the play. He just played it wrong. ND on the other hand got caught in a pair of mis-matches where there weren't enough defenders in position to make a play. That allowed a guy to get wide open. While, yes, they're both "blown coverages." They aren't all that comparable.

@dwm1812 And let me just say this about MSU; I didn't apply there until April of my senior year and still got accepted. Laughed and thought to myself "there's still no way in hell I'm going there."

Crist healthy all game - ND wins
@dwm181214 жыл бұрын
@McSomething15 Looking at the numbers when Crist was in the game and when he was not. IF Crist had played the entire game, it would be no brainer. BUT since he did sit out due to injury - that is the way it is. What if Robinson had been hurt (I hope not - I vote him for Heisman!) Both Crist and Robinson overthrew some passes, if refs saw Jones premature celebration, if Floyd doesn't drop a critical 3rd down pass - that's why I love this game - so many what ifs! UMvND is football at its best
@McSomething1514 жыл бұрын
@dwm1812 But it's really not a "no brainer." Mainly because there's no guarantee that him being in leads to more points. Seeing as for the majority of the second half, he wasn't doing all that much better than his backups. Two broken coverages led to both TDs. And like you said, there are a lot of ifs in that game. If not for two missed FGs and a bunch of questionable calls in the second half, ND is never able to get into position to retake the lead. Michigan pulled away.

@dwm1812 Can I borrow that crystal ball of yours some time? I'd really like to know the next big lotto numbers.

@McSomething15 Two of my good freinds are Mich grads and they are relentless and down right cruel in their taunting of MSU. Tell Coach Rod not to hurt Denard Robinson - he is the most exciting player in football and just entered my betting pool as most likely to win the Heisman!

@dwm1812 Party of my problem with MSU fans (the ones I know personally, that is) is that they're the type to claim to be Michigan fans in football, but MSU fans in basketball. Except in the years where MSU was actually able to pull out the win on the gridiron. Then they went around claiming they "knew MSU was gonna win" and were "rooting for them the whole time." In short, they're massive bandwagon fans. That, or they seem to want Michigan to lose more than they want MSU to win.

What's with the Irish fans. Every year I see guys in the endzones taunting and screaming at the Michigan players. First few years I thought it was a fluke but it's every single year. No shame when nothings beneath you I guess.

@McSomething15 How'd Mich get its 1st 2 TD's? Blown coverage by ND. After last year's game in Ann Arb. you bring up bad calls? UM v ND is college ball at its best no matter the rankings, no matter the records! I hate Michigan State worse! I hear all the rejected players and students who can't get into Mich go to MSU as Plan B
