Is there any gunsmithing required if you have a 3rd party trigger? Jewell / Timney? Thanks for this overview!

No, at least not with the Timney, they drop right in. I would assume the same would apply to the Jewell.

does the allen key allow you to torque down at the required force if you dont have a measureable torque wrench?
@lanegf9 жыл бұрын
I have a wheeler torque wrench and bought an add on set for the Allen heads but the 3/16" won't fit through the holes of the AICS 1.5 stock. Is there a piece I can buy that fits into my wrench and reduces down to 3/16", but is long enough to go through the holes to tighten my new stock on? If there is what is the name and who sells it? I can't find anything like it anywhere. Thank you

Hello can you let me know if you got the tool to do the job on the stock please

Sorry man, I never did. I brought it to a local gunsmith to do it for me. Never got to even meet the gunsmith to ask him how he did it, I had to drop it off and write on a note what I wanted done. Cost $10 for him to torque it for me.

The Husky brand extended set for 19.99 at Home Depot, has a 3/16 that works. Then you just need a torque wrench to attach said bit to and use. I know because I just had to do this on a current gen AX AICS
