Well done, coming up with such interesting alternative history and setting up a custom scenario! This is precisely the kind of effort that sets your channel apart from other CK3 KZbinrs. Mechanically, the AI in this mod tends to be a tad passive, so throwing a couple of conquerors in the mix should spice things up nicely. It's also cool to see Artos start out as a child with no personality traits, so he can develop in response to the circumstances and the people influencing him. Having the would-be slayer of wildlings take refuge beyond the Wall is deliciously ironic. I wonder if he might develop a more open mindset, after having spent his formative years around the free folk. Could he make an alliance with them, even marry one of their ilk to reclaim his lands? Osha may not come with an alliance, but a daughter of the King-Beyond-the-Wall might… (The span you indicated is called the Bridge of Skulls, which traverses the Gorge. I never really understood why the Night's Watch didn't get rid of such an obvious security risk.)

I think it would be pretty cool if Artos, since being raised by noble northmen AND around wildlings, would ultimately grow up to be a product of both, a noble Stark by blood but a true wild wolf by heart. Who knows, maybe in the future he will come across a fork in the road where he shall choose which path to follow and who to become. Or maybe he will be able to unify the lands beyond the wall and then somehow unify the entire north, the true north, and bring down the wall that divided his people for millenia. The wolf who brought winter.

Glad you are back with these! Doing a GOT alternate history type thing like this is a great idea and adds so much. So cool when the AI will do something so befitting of a character and house with the Bolton Marrying the former head Stark wife. I imagine he did this out of pure humiliation to the starks but also to try and portray an image of legitimacy/unity among the north.

Only weird thing is that Haegon is gay, his older brother Daemon the younger was gay, and many think its why Bittersteel refused to support him. So it wouldnt make sense for Haegon to be gay as well. Unless the implication he is hides it so well that his uncle Bittersteel doesnt know.

If you think him marrying the mother in my game I was conquering wessos and a lord took my daughter hostage and she was a genius and beautiful and when they married they became soulmates right after and I couldn't declare war or attack him at all because we became Allies and truce

Maybe Artos growing up among the wildlings actually learns their ways and eventually becomes their king by killing redbeard thereby getting his revenge. Then a Stark king beyond the wall leads an invasion into the North to retake his ancestral homeland. Ironic how the wildlings/freefolk started this mess and yet they could be used to clean it up.

They don’t have Knights/Squires in the North, generally. Knighthood is a Faith of the Seven tradition, and most people in the North worship the Old Gods.
