The high salt content in blood would make consuming the amount she does pretty bad for you. It could be why the bags under her eyes are so swollen and puffy as that's one of the signs of eating too much salt. But then again, she doesn't seem to actually *like* drinking it anytime the camera is on her doing it. She seems to lean away from it and seal her lips like she's taste something nasty. So a standard American diet high in salt could also explain her puffiness.

I hope you're at least eating a lot of food that has iron in it (f.e. legumes). Combined with Vitamin C, you can absorb the iron better. Sorry, don't want to be invasive but I have a friend who almost died because no one realised she has Thalassemia and since then, I know how bad iron deficiency can actually be for someone if left untreated.

I wonder If it's like a mineral deficiency. When I was pregnant I craved dirt. I wanted to eat dirt so bad I was considering ways I could clean it and make sure it was parasite free. It may be safe to drink blood in small amounts, assuming the blood is disease-free. But drinking more than, say, a couple of teaspoons puts you in the danger zone. So if she's drinking about a human a day in blood, she'd be dead or at the very least hospitalized.
