@@crystalgutierreztv I truly hope that the individual in question is her, as there is a striking resemblance to the girl in the picture. However, in a worst-case scenario, I trust that closure will find its way to this girl's family, shedding light on the mysterious events. Despite the passing of 38 long years (2024), an inkling persists within me that she continues to draw breath - who can fathom the trials and tribulations she endured during this time? The possibilities are haunting; she may have encountered the harsh reality that her mother rejected her, or worse, abandoned, neglected, or relinquished her. It is a thought too distressing to consider - the chilling notion that she may have met an untimely demise.

@mariemartins8606 But to not even remember your name? Jaycee Dugard was kidnapped as a child and went through absolutely horrific things, and she was still able to remember her name 20 years later. And prior to Anthonette's kidnapping, it really doesn't sound like things were that traumatic with her mom and sisters. Her mom partied and they lived in poverty, but there didn't seem to be anything particularly abusive happening (Sadie and her sister can correct me if I'm wrong).

Honestly, they don't look at all like sisters. I agree with the comment before that is very possible that they were never related at all. Anthonette was an older sibling to this woman, so she has no memory of how her sister came to live in that home with her family. Someone should help Michelle find her past. It's possible she was a STEP sibling, and they just were not told and were to young to know. So many things could explain her being the missing girl and still not matching DNA.

So sad for both women who are lost. 😢

Michelle's concerns may very well be rooted in true information. Many lab tests have returned inaccurate results in the past when running "sibling DNA" tests. This is widely known within Ancestry/Genetic Genealogy circles that generally those tests are accurate for parent/child matches but that the accuracy goes down for siblings and it is even lower accuracy for half-siblings. Michelle and Sadie should both also take consumer DNA tests through AncestryDNA and 23andMe. It is possible they share a relative such as a grandparent, great-grandparent, or farther connection. This is something that a "sibling DNA test" cannot tell them but a consumer autosomal DNA test can tell them. I look the spitting image of my 2x great grandmother despite looking nothing like any of my siblings. They could very well be related even if not as full siblings. Even if no distant cousin relationship is found between them, Michelle could use the results with the help of a DNA Search Angel to help her identify her biological family. Sadie would also have her DNA in those databases in case her sister or her sister's children or sister's grandchildren ever test.

I’m starting to think maybe they never were biological sisters. What the mother was just raising the girls as sisters and them someone took the one girl back.

I think the lady, Michelle is just so upset and needs a sense of belonging. I would suggest she do a 23 and me and an ancestery test and see if she has any relatives even cousins that show up. This is done with people worldwide. I pray she does these and gets herself some answers. Sadie could also do them to see if her sister that is missing could have done one. I love DNA and find it so facinating.

So far I have watched 7 minutes of this, and the story is so discombobulated that I have no clue what happened, when, or to whom.

@@monelleny did you watch the stories in order? You will find Part 1, Part 2 in the text of the posting for this episode.

DNA testing isn’t necessary mostly in cases like this. Hypothetical, say u believe you are the little girl in an old photo: it takes a second to look up if you have the birthmark as the girl. For example. And also the ears, they are like fingerprints. I have read a lot about noticed cases there ppl state that they are a missing person. And then you see pictures of the kid and the now adult person. Birthmarks are missing and the ears are totally different. Yet, many believe it can be true and waiting patiently to see the swab results. It’s strange.

First, thank you for watching our latest episode. Second, pictures and even zoom calls did not clearly show if Michelle had the same birth mark as Anthonette. Keep in mind -- make up can cover and create birthmarks on faces. We found it would be best to meet Michelle face to face...and since we were there get a DNA swab (that she agreed to) and find out for sure... Again, thank you for your support!

I mean, she looks just like her!! Is there any chance that maybe the father wasn’t her father? Or maybe the none of the kids are who they say they are with the parents? Are the parents never have an affair or have something going on that they were not honest about where this young girl came from? The resemblance to me, and the connection is so much stronger than the DNA. I would question it. I really really would.

@@krystenburkhardt-hansyn9655 first thank you so much for your support and inquiry. Second: yes, we looked into more of Michelle’s story, despite the DNA test results. There are several reasons we do not believe she is Anthoinette. Also, we do know that Sadie and Anthonette are in fact blood relatives. There are other family members that have confirmed that with Sadie. Again, thank you for watching. Every view helps spread her story…we hope that will turn into tips. 😊
